I honestly feel like the scene where Heaven DIO appears first time in the game should have had all Joestar's attacking DIO instead of just Johnny, Giorno and Jotaro. I mean they are the big guns so save them for last. Jonathan and Joseph attack with ripple, Jolyne and Josuke's with fist barrages. Then DIO just throws them all back proving how strong he is. Give other Joestars time to shine is what I'm trying to get here.

Yeah, agree. There were pacing issues in general with that sort of storytelling style where everyone says their thing one after the other, it might even have to do with how they got VAs to record their lines separately in the studio?  The 1-on-1 or small group conversations in EoH worked better than the scenes where everyone was there.

I read somewhere that when summoning Heroic Spirits in the Grail War you are actually summoning copies of the hero while the original is held outside of space and time. So the same hero can be summoned again in future wars So this would make FS/N Archer and Extra Archer just copies of the original Heroic Spirit EMIYA?

yep, that was explained in fate route when they talked about how that somehow does not apply to saber lmao

heroic spirits are copied and then placed in whatever time they’re needed, and once they die the copy fades with the memories it made, while the original is preserved in the throne of heroes

I don’t know if it works the same for counter guardians though, since archer definitely remembers the times he was summoned as a counter guardian even though normal heroic spirits should not remember it.

also, archer and lancer’s in-battle banter in fate/extra clearly shows they recognise each other from the fuyuki grail war, so who the fuck knows how it really works lmao
