Any good stories about Necropotence?

InQuest magazine rated Necropotence as the worst card in Ice Age when it reviewed the set. 

Necropotence then went on to take over the tournament scene in the proceeding months, so sucks to be those writers I guess.

how does Tamiyo, Moon Sage's emblem interact with something like the 0 ability of Chandra, Flamecaller? if i discard 3 cards and return them to my hand, do they still count for drawing?

No.

When Tamiyo’s emblem returns a card from your graveyard to your hand, it’s just moving from your graveyard to your hand and not being drawn. Cards can only ever be drawn from your library.

Also, a card put directly into your hand from your library by an effect like Strategic Planning isn’t drawn. You’re only drawing if the verb “draw” is used in the text of the spell or ability moving that card to your hand from your library.

If you cast Approach of the Second Sun with a Lich's Mastery out, will you draw the same Approach because of the Lich's effect?

Yes.

When you gain 7 life from Approach of the Second Sun, Lich’s Mastery will trigger. When that trigger resolves, you’ll draw 7 cards. Unless something weird has happened, the last card you draw will be the Approach of the Second Sun that you just cast.
