I just love the breif scene of Ash looking over a sleeping Goodra with tension filled music playing in the background and he’s just lost in thought over why Goodra made himself strong in the first place (wanting to protect his friends) and it’s such a small scene but it’s so nice. I love when Ash gets all introspective an contemplative.
Ash complimenting his boyfriends great cooking skills.
Pokemon needs more cliffhangers like today’s episode. I seriously cannot wait for how this all ends.
Finally got to watch the episode. I couldn’t catch the livestream cuz our internet was down at the time. But anyway, my thoughts: -Very good set-up. I’m finding Florges’ intentions intriguing cuz of the baby Flabebe (something that I can’t fully explain cuz it wasn’t subbed yet). Yet, Florges looks like one of those female gang-leaders that instill fear upon your soul. Love it. -I like how Goodra still had his friends around when the gang visited :) -Satoshi, finally. ‘Nuff said. But I do question the choice of music during that particular scene. -Overall, good episode, good set-up and I am SO looking forward to the tear-jerker next week.
What if the writers ACTUALLY thought Florges is part Grass and that’s why Goodra learned Ice Beam..?
Numelgon?
More like NumelGYM :p
(This is my first GIF Animation :D)
I’m still salty that Goodra is leaving, but I really enjoyed this episode and the next one with both Goodra and Ash crying will probably destroy me in the best possible way. Glad to see that Ash really wanted to help Goodra, but was able to listen to reason by the old man and Clemont. He still cheered him with all he had. I was surprised to see Goodra learn Ice Beam, I wonder if it’ll have some specific role in the future, cause it seems like an odd choice to go with if its only purpose was to beat a Fairy type. Also props to good old Rica Matsumoto for the voice acting at the end, it’s really not often that we get to hear Ash speak so softly. One really notable instance that comes to mind for me was Charizard’s departure episode. So yeah, even if I don’t want to say goodbye to my boy Drip, at least his goodbye is looking like to be a very emotional experience, something we don’t see that much in Pokeani.
