So I’m kind of obsessed with Serena’s Eevee right now...

Great ep overall, right off the bat I gotta mention the thing that stuck out the most for me, Serena asking Braixen and Pancham if they were okay with befriending Eevee. That’s really nice, I love how tightly knit Serena’s squad is (I understand why they wouldn’t do that with Ash given how he gets new Mons much more often etc + they’re probably just so set on their ways at this point, when it comes to him). The scene where Serena and her mons see Eevee dance during the night was gorgeous, that camera rotation, lighting, music etc. Also can we talk about James/Inkay blowing Pikachu ALLL the way back with that well played Foul Play YOOO lmao that’s my man, that’s my #2 DUDE James. xD And in steps badass Serena 10/10. I already made a post on Bunnelby trolling the fuck out of Chespin so yea that was hilarious, the Eevee thing is interesting though, especially since we had that “Pikachu x Eevee” thing in a magazine. I’m guessing they realized people actually like Bunnelby so they've been trying harder to give it screen time in various ways. Doubt it'll lead to anything beyond just the pokemon interaction, like with Chespin and Pancham, but hey, a little bone for the geekchickers I ain’t mad.

To end this off, I’m glad they reanimated Serena’s first “GETTO DA ZE” sequence, I like it a lot so it was great to see it in her new outfit.

The queen opens yet another new page on her journey~

Heeeyyy another rare opportunity to catch the episode right on its airing. And I’m so glad it doesn’t disappoint :) An impressive episode for Serena, we get to see, once again, manifestations of her growth as a trainer, even going as far as to do Satoshi’s thing of throwing herself at harm’s way in order to protect a Pokemon (it wasn’t even hers at that point). A bit of Amourshipping if I may say so myself.  Eevee’s current movepool was actually pretty surprising, knowing Protect and Swift already. I’m starting to feel a bit of hope for Serena in the next episode when they have their tag battle with Tierno and Sana. She better at least hold her own in there hehe. Anyway, I am looking forward to the subs for this episode. It was wonderful. :D

A great lemon sibling episode al around. Clemont was great,, Bonnie was great, nice to see Bunnelby’s true personality and motivations in general just a good episode all round.

I think it’s interesting we see a flashback of a time when Ash hadn’t even got to Kalos and Serena was still forced to ride Ryhorns and Clemont was kicked out of his gym and he was struggling to even get a decent meal (thanks Bonnie). And Bunnelby was the “I’m protecting the weak” type of Pokemon that lines up well with his “responsible” persona. The two battles we see between him and that ugly ass Diggersby were very creative and fun to watch, I always did ilke Bunnelby’s battling style and to see Bonnie and Clemont “train him” with funny looking hats and “performing” was pretty cute. 

And I have to talk about the ending scene with Clemont blubbering like a baby, Bonnie making fun of him for it when he caught Bunnelby and Ash/Serena saying “its fine”  was a nice group moment, Clemont crying gives me life honestly (it was less serious then when Clemont caught Luxio but its still heartwarming and shows Clemont’s character and how emotional he is.)

The animation was on point, everything felt nice to look at and full of life, it even tried to make Diggersby looks cute….it failed, but they tried! Overall a really good episode, this is why we need more Lemon Sibling focus! But I’m down for the upcoming three part Serena/Eevee arc all the same!
