Another little thing I loved about today’s episode is Bunnelby just FREAKING OUT when Eevee was lost, like he’s basically taken the roll as it’s guardian now so he probably feels personally responsible for it and it’s well being, gosh I love that little bunny so much <3

You know what fine. Im okay with Serena beating Shauna once because tbh I was dreading another Dawn/Zoey scenario where Serena can never be allowed to beat Shauna but she did here and so that’s good, it helps makes things equal and gives you a sense that Serena is actually getting better as a performer. She BETTER lose the next one though, especially if she’s going to use Eevee, I want it to have a freak out on stage or make some mistake. Obviously they started this goal so late that they have to get through it quickly but if you can have Serena lose at least one more that would be good imo (hopefully with Miette kicking her ass).

Nene was the fall girl as predicted, poor girl didnt even get to perform and was instead beaten by Serena in a very confusingly done quiz game (still more interesting then baking), oh well maybe next time. Please let Nene shine next time.

The drama with Eevee was kinda predictable but I liked how it showed that Serena was willing to miss her performance just to find her Pokemon and when she did find it she wasnt mad or anything, just happy it was safe. Twas some good animation during that scene as well.

Serena’s performance was fine, kinda samey to her last one. Im kinda glad she has Eevee now because there are only so many many ways you can mix up fire attack + stone edge before it loses it’s touch (Braxien even did the same jumping trick like last time). Hopefully with Eevee on the team they can mix it up some more.

Overall a fine way to top off Eevee’s three episode arc hopefully it gets more in the future.

As soon as I saw Serena’s performance it was super obvious she was gonna win, EZ. Totally deserved though, that was easily the best performance of the show so far imo, the dance moves, the animation, the final Fire Blast, beast. I really like how Eevee was incorporated into this. It made sense that it wouldn’t participate since she’s still so shy and new to everything, but she contributed to the victory by teaching the rest of the team how to dance. And now she has seen first hand how cool performing can be and will definitely be motivated to join in next time, Serena even asked it to do so (or something along those lines) at the end of the ep.  Theme performance was pretty cool too, poor Farfetch’d lol So Serena has now beaten her supposed main rival, at least this isn’t following the usual pattern. I wonder if they’ll give Shauna another win, introduce a new rival before the Master Class or if her streak will just be like Ash’s, where he usually loses one Gym and then doesn’t lose again until the league (obviously not with rivals but in Serena’s case rivals and “gyms” are combined so...). Time shall tell.
