I remember when my friend first showed me the Rock the House video i actually had to look away (even though i was crying with laughter) because murdoc's part combined with the weird grunting sounds he made literally gave me secondhand embarrassment

the first time i heard gorillaz i was playing guitar hero (feel good inc) and i remember not liking it because i thought some stoner was singing about how "santa's breaking down on a camel's back" and i was like why is this stoner singing about santa

s o i wasnt the only one for the longest time so confused. like why santa thats such a strange image. i had this image of santa riding a camel for years only a few weeks ago did i finally realize it was the word city
