Lovers' Quarrel
The world around him was humming with activity, but Yongguk had found a peaceful bliss within it. With strong drink in hand, he’d made it his mission to find a way to get drunk, though these days it seemed to only come about with the aide of blood wine. Where there was a will, there was a way, however, and he saw it fit to drink barrels full of rum until the job was done. He’d taken slim interest in the people around him, sure that he would choose a meal for himself later on when the night was drawing closer to the tipping point. He was unaware that his mirror image liked this very bar on occasion, nor that his lover would be there without him.
As he finished off another round, convincing the bartender to keep it coming, his eyes landed on the other. It was ironic that they’d have the same taste in men, although really Yongguk was far more shallow than his younger counterpart. As their eyes met from across the room, he beckoned the male closer with the wave of a finger, ordering one more for the fellow. The promise of a drink was a failsafe in his book, and if it didn’t work out there was always another body to take the place of the first in his mind. “Care for a drink?” He asked the other, pushing the glass towards him as he approached the bar.
