Y is for Young, Neil Young.
I saw ol’ Neil at a festival in 1996, we stumbled upon Jonathan Richman playing one of the smaller stages who literally walked off stage as we walked into the tent so all we witnessed was him putting his guitar down. We watched Beck, The Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette and Manic Street Preachers before Neil took to the stage and it was almost like he’d done a deal with the sound guy because Neil was about ten times louder than anyone else.
My overriding memory of that day is of a guy who was standing in front of us wearing just a pair of black jeans, no shirt, no shoes, just the jeans, he got more loaded throughout the day and as night fell, he fell asleep by the fire after dancing (his socks off?), pissed his pants and missed all of Neil Young’s set.

I considered these guys the next closest thing to My Chemical Romance themselves, but beyond that, I can't really say much about them. But when I first heard this song, I loved it :D
