I really need to be spending more time in the Shuttered Palace. I forgot I was in the middle of writing a novel. Well, uh, the Disgruntled Librarian can now add "gothic romance novelist" to their list of achievements! And someone immediately wants to know what the fuck is up.
Fuck it. I say that the Disgruntled Librarian writes vampire novels. I'm hyperfixating on vampires so the entirety of the Neath has to deal with it now.

While I have been loath to let anyone else edit my pantry sheet for fear of some accidental loss of hard-researched data, there's only so much a single person can do on their own, and having like, 5 estivals going on is a bit much.
SO,
with that in mind, I am going to ask for your help.
I HAVE MADE AN EMPTY, EDITABLE PANTRY SHEET.
if you find any food item mentioned in any of the estivals, or just anywhere at all, feel free to add it to the sheet! if you play ssea or sskies and find something, i havent played those games so i probably don't know about it either. all items added here that arent already on the main pantry will be copied over to the main pantry by me, so this way people can help but also we wont have the "oh two people edited this with bad lag so half the sheet is gone" issue with the main sheet.
please feel free to spread this post around! the more help, the better!
the pantry is kind of designed to be a useful resource for everyone (or it WILL be once i actually sit down and organise everything better) so like, the more people who know about this the better. I haven't spread it to the discord yet because I don't really know what the etiquette there is but if you want to tell anyone there about this be my guest!

I am having way too much fun with the Light Fingers storyline.
Prof. Sallow's aunt being in the Neath is just going to keep being kind of catastrophically funny. This guy ran and ran and ran, shed his skin, his name, his memories, his gender, the touch of the sun, and connections to every person he ever knew, and he still hasn't stopped running-
And there she is. Heralded by a letter, he isn't even sure how he knows that's his aunt, but she definitely is; sure, they don't look alike, but that happens often enough. And considering how different he looks, now, it's a miracle that she recognised him at all... perhaps they used to share a resemblance, once, but she'll never say.
She'll never spill anything, really, that he hasn't said first. That little bit of wrongness, that hooked sliver of derangement in the brain, must run in the family, because she just kind of thinks it's funny not to tell him. She knows everything about his life on the surface, in the way only the very nosiest family member can, and every little family drama that's happening even now. The closest to any kind of hint she gives about any of it is sending him a birthday gift in the mail at some point in late April: she's not going to tell him what day his birthday is, though, because surely he already knows that!
