I know next to nothing about old computers despite my love of the aesthetic but I DO know the au made me want to watch hlvrai so there’s that!

We have a bug report/catching specialist, who can tell when a device is glitching but not if it’s due to malware or simply shoddy coding; and the trash manager! Helps get rid of files you don’t want- though you don’t mind if he holds onto them until you want them DELETED deleted, right...?

I don’t know if old computers had trash or recycle bins so I improvised rip

Yes I am into hlvrai now, yes I made an oc, am I posting an au version of that oc before I even post the ref? Yes!! yes I am!!  This is a version of Riker (my hlvrai oc) in the y2kvr au by @year2000electronics ! Please go check out the au at @y2kvr!!  While Riker in my canon is an anxiety ridden man I thought him being in a computer would lead to much more happy and carefree version. Me and a friend joked about him being coolmathgames.com before the joke about coolmath started in the au so you can suspect how much I laughed at the coincidence FGKHVLJB  Hope you all like him and i’ll post his canon ref soon enough!

She in this AU is one of those malware kid games you can download from a sketchy website, usually hiding somewhere on the computer trying to avoid Bubby cause she doesn’t want to be deleted. Yes, that is a worm on a string on her leg! She opened one of Benrey’s letters once and you can’t infect malware with malware so... she got a pet! A little lovecore worm who she calls her best friend! Bottom One: Ms. Deerling! A parenting program with tips and advice to help you and your (current or future) children! Contains a plethora of information for upcoming, new and current parents! Very motherly and usually dots on everyone! Soft spot for Jocelin.

Keller was made to be a  shimeji! A kind and caring web cruising companion who could help with tasks! no matter how big or small!

he wasn’t the best with answering complicated questions but with adorable little animations he’d be able to pull up the proper  websites

when tested, their little avatar would run, crawl, jump, and play on your desktop!

They were meant to be in exclusively the Japanese port of Y2KVR program, near the end of the developer's work they quickly shoved them into the English program in an attempt to make sure that if y2k really d i d do damage his programming wouldn’t go to waste 

due to his quick installation to the normal  program he isn’t properly protected and his code is a little iffy, causing some. bizarre. things will happen with him as the cause

he’s very kind to the other Ai’s and is quite aware of their situation and that they are very much, behind the times
