The electronics box was a mess. It gave Jimmy a headache just to look at - wires chaotically crisscrossed and looped together, then haphazardly jam-packed into the metal compartment that was obviously too small. It was everything from rush job, to fire hazard, to 'I don't get paid enough' to fix this. A Pony Express classic.
The electronics box was clearly fucked, and would fuck anyone that was unlucky enough to open it - which just so happened to be the ship's rookie the very second Jimmy strolled by.
But Jimmy didn't say that. He figured it could be a good learning opportunity for Daisuke. (And the kid made for such an easy punching bag.)
