I’m so good at crushes
So, it was back in Freshmen year of High School. He was in my PE class. Quite cute, curly black hair. This week’s game was kickball and I was quite excited. We got set up and picked teams. Unfortunately, evil-coach-lady put us on separate teams. The game started and several people had already kicked and several rounds have gone by. I was playing “short-stop” and he was at bat. I watched him valiantly kick the ball with all his force and it hit the back wall and rolled in between 3rd and home. He ran straight through first and all I had to do was stop him from getting to 2nd. I was obviously admiring his beauty and he was ever-approaching for his task to get past me. I guess I kinda zoned out in his glamour and as he was running STRAIGHT TOWARD ME I kinda just stood there staring at him. We collided in a flurry of pushing and falling. He made it to 2nd so I guess I didn’t really fulfill my duties. After, he walked up to me to make sure I was okay (guess you could consider us acquaintances at this point). We kinda-sorta bonded over it and now are “friends”.
Moral of the story: People might be cute and it is totally worth it to stare at them even if it endangers yourself
