I'm the matty one shot anon! My idea is kind of a frustrating/angsty one. Basically matt's in love with the idea of being in love and he's found this amazing girl who he thinks should be everything he wants (supportive of the band/gets along with them/listens to midnight ramblings about theories/can keep up with his Vegas life) but he has a hard time letting down the massive walls he's built after his other girlfriend broke his heart *cough*harper*cough* ... More specific than I thought.

Oh my god I love it!!! That sounds so great omg, I can picture it more as a chaptered fic rather than a one shot so there’s time to build it up. As in, build up the girl’s character and Matty’s feelings towards her and his gradual letting down of his walls to let her in. I’d love to write this, if you’re okay with that.
