Btw love your page. Csn you explain yachtgate please? This was b4 I was in the fandom. I joined so late in fact I missed everything and even now after being here 2 yrs I'm still trying to catch up and make sense of everything Larry. Can you suggest any good utube vids/interviews etc I should watch? Thanks

Yachgate was 1 January 2016. I think a day or two before Harry and Anne arrived at the airport in Miami. Paparazzi were hired to take photos of Harry and Kendall Jenner. They were on the island of St. Bart’s and some photos “leaked” from land. It was noted that Harry had gotten a new tattoo on the right arm, to cover his “Things I Can” tattoo. It is an eagle. It’s still the only tat on that arm.

Besides Anne, Harry, and Kendall, on the yacht were Jeff Azoff, his brother Cam, his girlfriend Glenne, and then (later) Ellen Degeneris and her wife Portia de Rossi.

We got lots of photos of Kendall draped on top of Harry in their bathing suits, then swimming and flirting. Then Harry seemed to be signing a contract onboard with Jeff in full view of paps (whose boats were in the water with mega cameras pointed at the yacht), while Kendall took their photos.

In retrospect, the Kardashians are friends of the Azoffs. The outing was publicity for all of them. Later photos were “hacked” from Anne’s computer, showing photos of Harry and Kendall, a couple of days before a big issue of Vogue came out with special pages featuring Kendall. Also in the hacked batch of photos: Jeff visiting Holmes Chapel and otherwise adopting Harry into the Azoff family. Organic guacamole.

The contract signed was for Full Stop Management. Harry’s eagle tattoo signified his freedom finally to pursue his solo career. Imo Harry and Kendall were mutual promotion. The main event was Jeff launching his dad’s gift to him company “with” Harry. That’s yachtgate.

I’m that anon from the other day that was super new to the Larry fandom and appreciated your in-depth posts. Hi! I was wondering if there was any discussion about when/why Harry had his “Things I can” tattoo covered by an eagle? From what I’d read the original seemed to have meaning, so why would he cover it? I’ve read quite a bit about their tattoos and haven’t seen any mention of this. Thanks for your thoughts!

The eagle tattoo was first noticed on 30 December 2015. Harry was at a party in Anguilla.

It turned out that he was with Kendall Jenner.

On New Year’s Day, the infamous yacht photos came out. Paparazzi took photos of Harry with Kendall. Harry’s mother Anne was there. So was Jeff’s little brother Cameron Azoff (all in the family).

Harry was papped signing what most likely was the contract for Full Stop Management.

Kendall, Portia di Rossi, Ellen Degeneres, Jeff, Glenne, and Harry are in the photo (rich cringy people love each other).

In addition, four songs were registered to ASCAP, co-written by Harry, Johnny McDaid and Gary Go (of Snow Patrol), with Harry posted as solo singer.

Since an eagle is a symbol of freedom, I’d say the eagle stands for the launch of Harry’s solo career.

The yacht was staged to promote Harry and Jeff Azoff’s Full Stop Management. It was to show that Jeff had a big client.

The tattoo covered up a part of this serenity prayer, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

The other interesting thing is that the tattoo remains the only one on Harry’s right arm. “Things I Can’t” was covered by the Bible tattoo, and “I can’t change” by the anchor. Harry has gotten tattoos after the eagle, but always on the “Things I Can’t” side. The right arm stays empty.

I tend to believe him and Louis were together since the beginning and never stopped, but that doesn’t exclude certain possibilities. H did seem quite honest. I don’t know their private life but maybe they did want to experiment from time to time. Though I think the tought of someone else on Harry’s body would kill Louis.

I’m probably the wrong person to ask, because there was so much weird with the Ellen interview, and I’m not smart enough to figure it all out.

From the very beginning, her line of questioning kept implying Harry’s womanizer reputation.

- Has anyone ever written a song about you? C’mon, we’re not playing if you’re going to lie.

- Have you ever made out with someone twice your age?

Who were these questions for, if not Harry?

When you look at their faces during the hook-up question, they looked less than totally surprised.

Look at Niall “No Game Face” Horan, and Louis “Let’s Get It Over With” Tomlinson. Or Liam “Gosh I’ve Never Heard These Before” Payne. Maybe there’s a reason Harry is sitting closest to Ellen?

The Ellen interview took place on November 18, 2015. What was happening six weeks later? Oh right, Ellen got on the yacht from hell with her wife Portia.

Ellen and Portia participated in the Hendall charade. Obviously Harry felt very comfortable around the Gays; he just wasn’t one himself, not at all. But he has mature gay friends! He has an attic show in development!

So I don’t know what to say about Ellen’s interview.
