Why do we study Hebrew? Friends and even random people whom are not my friends on social media are sarcastic about this topic. Asking why insist the Hebrew language if you’re Filipino? They go berserk over it. Okay then, I will share some facts about this.
“Sofonias/Zephaniah 3:9- We will bring back to a pure language“
It was an article entitled "Revised New Pre-Hispanic History of Philippines", written by Isagani Datu-Aca Tabilog, posted in Scribd.com
Ok, this is a very sensitive topic. I will share with you how the NAME of the Almighty Creator Abba/Father יהוה was blasphemed and profaned.
For the Bisaya who uses this particular curse word, not knowing they are profaning the Set-apart Name of our Heavenly Father. I am now warning you, with love, please be careful of what’s coming out of your mouth, most especially if you have NO IDEA what it really means,
"Ya-wa" is "Yah is not in you" which most bisaya people don’t know. Long ago, when the Israelites first arrived here in the Philippines, they are the ones who first blasphemed the Kadosh/Holy Name. “Ezekiel 36:20-21 20 When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of יהוה , and yet they have gone out of His land.’ 21 But I had concern for My holy Name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.
"The language of Tagalog and Bisaya is Ancient-Hebrew
According to Merriam-Webster International Unabridged dictionary that the Tagalog language and Visayan language comes from one group of language called Tagala that is branch-language of ancient Malay-Javanese language called Kawi which is now extinct.
The Tagalog language has 30,000 root words, 700 affixes, and the root words which are famous about 5,000 words from Spanish, 3,200 from Malay-Indonesia, 1,500 words from Hebrew, 1,300 words from English, 300 from Sanskrit, 250 words from Arabic and very few words from Persian, Japanese, Russian.
The Latin language was influenced from Spanish and English. The language of Visaya and Tagalog has many similarities about 3,800 well known words are the same and similar in usage.
The Hiligaynon is the language of Visaya is also like the Higaynon in Hebrew word means “solemn sound”.
“Wa” means “not in you” in Visayan language. The word ‘Ya” in Hebrew means “Yah” the short form of the name of the Mighty One of Yahshurunites (Israelites). Therefore the meaning of “ya-wa” means “Yah is not in you” or “evil”. The word ‘po’ derived from ‘ho’ is an ancient primitive Hebrew words are being mentioned in all dialects of the Philippines."
May this serve to enlighten our minds so that we may avoid misjudging any one of our Filipino brothers due to lack of knowledge, and instead bring enlightened truth to those still in the dark, not knowing they may be committing blasphemy in their ways or traditions.. May we serve to bring them the Truth to set them free. In Yahushua's Shem/Name we pray, Ahmein!
This was a study from a Follower of YAH. I hope and pray this would enlighten our family and friends, and help them avoid profaning or putting the Name of our Heavenly Father in naught (nothing).
