2 YEARS AGO TODAY I MET TAYLOR SWIFT!!!
MEETING TAYLOR SWIFT!!! My story first starts with me entering an online contest for a trip to NYC to be apart of this AMAZING event, which was the Live Stream!!! My parents & my brother were on a camping trip up North & I could not go b/c I had work. Anyways... On August 14th, 2014, my friend & I where going to go see the move "The Giver" after work. We met up & walked back to my house to come home with a message on the house phone. We played it & it said that this was a guy name Kevin & he was from TaylorSwift.com, & I need to call them back. I was very confused. I called them back, but no one answered the 1st time, so I left a message with them. I was freaking out & pacing around my whole house. My friend told me to calm down & try & call them again. Right when I picked up phone, the # showed up, so I picked it up. This time it was a women on the phone & she told me that she was from Taylor Nation. She also told me that I won this contest to go to NYC!!! I was in so much shock!!!😱😱😱 I was shocked that I was not screaming over the phone, but anyways my friend watch my face change so fast. I called my parents & I was sobbing & shaking on the phone & they though something bad happened to me, but I told them everything. When they got home the next's day, my dad agree that he would take me out to NYC to be apart of the Yahoo Live Stream!!! The event was on August 18th, 2014, & my work was nice of enough to let me go too. The drive was about a 13/14 hours, but I didn't care. When we got to NYC, we got to explore everything!!! I went to Times Square too!!! Next's day, we woke up very early to go to our meeting place. I was soooo... Excited & nervous that I didn't eat anything. When it was time to meet up with the other winners, my dad took took me to this cool hotel that we wait there for a few hours before going to the next's check point. There were 89 winners!!! The Yahoo Live Stream was held in the Good Morning America Studio, which they gave us some snacks & drinks before we entered the studio. When it was time for the live stream begin... Taylor came in & everybody went crazy!!!! Taylor told us about her new album called: "1989!!!" Also we danced to SHAKE IT OFF & SAW THE SHAKE IT OFF MUSIC VIDEO TOO!!! She danced in front of me too!!! After the Yahoo Live Stream, we saw her parents, but I only meet her dad b/c he was the only who came to Taylor's NYC apartment with us!!! He was very sweet, nice, & funny!!! He gave everybody Taylor Swift guitar picks too!!! Taylor invited all 89 of us back to her apartment to have a pizza/dance party with her!!! So we hopped on tour busses & went to her house. When I got there, someone told else where we were & I so shocked!!! She greeted everybody with a smile & hugged us too!!! I was soooo speechless b/c she walked right up to me & hugged me. I could not believe she was right there in front of me!!! I had some pizza & some water. Later on I was in her kitchen with her & she was taking out a box of pizza. She turned toward me... And she said: "Did you get enough to eat?" At first I didn't know she was actually talking to me, so I just nodded & then randomly... I said: "I LOVE PIZZA!!!" Then she said: "I LOVE PIZZA TOO!!!" We had some big connection there... Lol... Then we had a DANCE PARTY IN HER KITCHEN TO SHAKE IT OFF!!! After that she asked us where we where from & I told her I was from Chicago & my whole story. I told her that I cried over the phone when I got the call from Taylor Nation. Then she said: "Oh my god. I would have never pictured you balling your eyes out on the phone. Your so sweet, nice, & AMAZING!!!" I was sooo HAPPY that she called me those wonderful things. Then we got to take Polaroid pictures with her & I got to hold one of her GRAMMYS!!! The Grammys are HEAVEY!!! The only thought going through my head was: "Amanda Please Don't Drop The Grammy!!!" Before we left, she thanked us for coming & hugged us out too. She called me sweet & amazing again. :) She gave us gift bags with T-Shirts inside them!!! Taylor Swift T-Shirts!!! Two of them were the same & they said: "SHAKE IT OFF TS 1989!!! Also got a shirt that said: "Players Gonna Play!!!" Also got to pet Olivia too!!! She is sooo sweet!!! I saw Meredith too, but she was a bit shy. Taylor Swift T-Shirts!!! THE END!!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!🎉🎉🎉
