Oh no, oh no, oh no... Those were not good grades. 

Katsumi clutched the sheet of paper tightly in her hands, staring at the numbers. The captain would not be impressed, the coach would not be impressed. She needed help and she needed it fast. 

She lifted her head, finally tearing her gaze away from the low numbers. Her eyes settled on a familiar face. 

“Yaku-san.” Was that a tremble in her voice? Pfft, of course not. 

“Yaku-san, I need your help. Please.” She couldn’t go to her own teammates about it - word would get back to the coach and he wouldn’t let her play until she got her scores up. No, this would have to remain a secret. 

However, she had never really spoken to the boy she approached. All she knew was that he was the libero on the boys’ team (which he was good at) and he was in the third year - that meant he had to be smarter than her, right? Anyone was smarter than her.

Kuroo stumbles forward slightly, taken off guard as Yaku kicks his butt. If he was being honest, it kind of hurt ! Rubbing the bruised area with a hand, Kuroo would turn to glare at the libero. What’d he even do to deserve getting kicked in the ass for ?

             ❛ oh, yakkun! don’t be silly, you’re not interrupting. ❜ he jogs over to the libero from across the gym, halting in his tracks because he is stunned. truly and utterly stunned. tooru vaguely recalls a moment of yaku laughing at his silly obsession over the cosmos and alien civilizations; the conclusion he drew at the time was that yet another person thought his interest to be frivolous. he was strangely used to it. hence his surprise.

Glancing up Yaku, he muffled a laugh by placing his free hand over his mouth, shaking his head. “ Of course not, of course not. I’m just going to tease you right now for it. “ Sugawara straightened himself up before stirring the noodles with the chopsticks. Just the thought of the libero’s underwear sticking out of the top of his shorts made Sugawara battle with himself not to burst out in a laughing fit. 

“ I bet it makes you double check now, though, right? It wasn’t even that bad. “

DAMN THESE TALL PEOPLE ! & their long legs with their ability to reach doors before him . to think futakuchi even holds it open for him is infuriating on so many levels . he’s not a child ( & he might be taking this a bit more personally than necessary ) . he huffs , blowing out a huff of air with his tongue , a loud ‘pbbbth ‘ directed at the spiker in an oh-so childish manner. grow up, yaku ! this is totally unreasonable treatment & behavior towards this man .

he’s too proud , too arrogant , choosing to stand at the door instead of walking through it with his arms folded over his chest . his nose turned upwards derisively in an attempt to stare futakuchi down & really , it’s more like he glaring intensely up at the sky . cursing anyone who holds even an inch over him .  does he mutter a thank you ? no , he doesn’t ! because it’s infuriating to feel like he’s constantly being looked down on . ❛ you can go first . ❜

he didn't mean to be rude, he just ... usually holds the door out for people, because it's polite. kenji raises an eyebrow, blinking a little fast. is this what short people are like? wait, but sakunami is never like this. but sakunami's also an angel ... err. okay. he scratches the side of his head, but shrugs and enters first, holding the door out for the other to catch it before it shuts.

... man. what's up with nekoma, huh? they really are just various cat personalities, from what he's seen. he's glad that datekou's only rep is him being a giant pain in the ass. because that's entirely intentional, and he likes annoying people.
