He couldn’t ( nor would he ) deny that Suga wasn’t at least a little bit endearing with how he was acting. A soft smile ceases his features, though it would grow bigger at the general hilarity of seeing the setter down for the count. He shrugs at his words, though Suga does have a point.

❝ True, but did you see how many burpees I did ? ❞ He jokes lightly, though he’d probably feel the sting later. He also wasn’t one to talk about sitting on dirty floors either, but he didn’t mind being a hypocrite. At Suga’s question, he’s tilted his head to the sidelines behind them. ❝ I think so. Dunno what they got though, wanna go check ? ❞

Sugawara usually wasn’t one to complain nor act like a CHILD but after so many days of killing his arms and legs, anyone would be complaining at least a little. He knew Kuroo wouldn’t judge him too hard for it.

His light tease would float out of his mouth easily, a playful smile tugging on his lips as he looked down at the other senior. They’re joint practice was surely exhausting, but to say that was the cause of his death was surely an over-exaggeration. Nonetheless, Kuroo lowers himself down to sit next to the setter, gently nudging him with his hand.

❝ You should at least drink water or something, instead of laying on the gross floor. ❞

No, he was dying. Sugawara straightened out his arm above his body, staring up at the ceiling as he tried to steady his breath. No matter how many times he put himself through this training, it never got easier. His chest felt as if he had just swallowed a bunch of bread without any breaks and his legs felt as if they were run over. 

“ Easy for you to say, you haven’t nearly as many penalties as I have. “ Even if he complained, the crow pushed himself upright, wiping his hands on his shirt. “ You say gross floor but you also sit down on it. “ He teased in return, nudging Kuroo back but with his entire side, “ Did the managers bring any snacks today? “

he flicks the sides of his hair from his face , hooking the soft blonde strands with his pinky to throw them aside . his nose scrunches up with a pinched expression as he turns the words over in his mind , his tongue dragging across the front of his teeth in quiet contemplation . ❛ the baby crows are quite chaotic , aren’t they ? ❜ his chin is propped in the web of skin between his forefinger & thumb , gripping the area gingerly between his fingertips . ❛ i don’t but i also don’t babysit a team . ❜

It was actually quite funny that everyone seemed to adopt the term ‘ baby crows ‘ to describe the Karasuno first years. It made him wonder what the third years were called among the other teams. 

Sugawara couldn’t help but watch how the other third-year moved. He did seem a lot more PUT TOGETHER ( in other words, GROWN UP ) than a lot of other students. He folded his arms behind his back, pressing his forearms against his lower back as he intertwined his fingers. “ I don’t babysit my team. They might not seem like it but they’re responsible in their own ways-- “ He sounded like a mom. Catching his own tongue, he chuckled nervously. “ What I mean is, they’re loud and rambunctious but when it’s appropriate ( for the most part ). I just have to put them back in place every not and then. “

Kuroo’s finished with repacking by the time the setter stretches out and then brings himself up to his feet. He noticed the double and heard the chuckle at his socks, and Kuroo would let a smile tug his lips upwards. At least someone liked his socks, considering Kenma and Yaku always made fun of them ! When Suga returns, Kuroo stuff his wallet and phone into his back pockets, and shuts the door behind him.

❝ Great, the walk into town’s not too far. I know some cool places we could go to. ❞

Sugawara shifted to the side so Kuroo could easily leave the room, bending down so he could tug his shoes on. He was actually a bit excited about being able to get out and focus on something other than training. Of course, he enjoyed practicing and volleyball in general but it wasn’t good to overwork the body or mind. Stress was a silent killer. “ Okay! Sounds good! “ A wide smile pulled at the corners of his mouth, showing his teeth. He finished putting his shoes on and straightened himself out, “ lead the way. “

so the tumblr ask formatting thing isn’t a glitch. someone i know got in touch with tumblr support and was basically told that staff intentionally got rid of all formatting options on asks, so if you have a problem with it, you should definitely contact support to complain ( because they did say that they want user feedback, even if i think that’s a load of bullshit ). personally i’ll be mentioning that it’s completely ridiculous, because people who don’t want formatted ask replies aren’t the ones doing the formatting - it’s the people who WANT it that are doing it, so getting rid of it is just alienating people. but uh. yeah. idk. in case people still thought it was a glitch, just thought you should know
