Sagawa raised a brow at the shouting happening outside the door, a look of amused askance directed towards Kadokura.
The man in question was just about to stand and sort the issue, when the door suddenly slammed open.
What an interesting turn, Sagawa thought, that the great force which the door opened, should only reveal… no one? No one he could see, at any rate. A feat given there wasn't anything especially tall in the way.
"KURA-OJI! Staff-san was mean to me!"
Sagawa didn't hide his amusement as Kadokura deflated slightly, the particular look of a man with a child-driven headache forming settling on his features.
The small girl, all frilly skirts, sharp dark eyes, and blonde bobbed hair, bounded around into sight.
"Mio-chan what have I t-"
The glare Kadokura shot him as Sagawa cut him off was more amusing then it probably ought to have been, "Well hello there, chibi-hime. Who might you belong to?"
Those oil dark eyes turned on him, and though she was young, maybe 6 or 7 he would guess, there was a canniness there.
She eyed him for a moment, quiet, calculative. Something dawned on her, some bit of information, pieces coming together.
"Mommy doesn't like you."
Kadokura didn't bother trying to choke back the sudden laugh. Sagawa couldn't really blame him, he wouldn't have either.
Condescending, indulgent smile, he didn't let the proclamation throw him off, "Is that so?"
"She thinks you're funny. It makes her mad."
Still laughing, Kadokura reached down to pull the girl to him, an action she gave no resistance to, easily letting herself be half tossed onto the setee.
"Ah, you're Kimi-chan's girl, then."
"Mommy-chan."
Sagawa grinned and Kadokura turned his eyes to the ceiling, knowing this was going to come up again, and both dreading and delighting in the fit the woman was going to throw.
"Mommy-chan it is."
