I did not expect this one but it’s a challenge if I ever saw one. xD Sorry I'm a little late though.

Who would be the big spoon?
Yakone and he'd be a very clingy big spoon too.
Who would wake up first?
Yakone but only because he'd get tired of being kicked awake by Korra, she's a restless sleeper.
Do they have nicknames for each other?
Korra calls him 'grandpa' as a joke (he doesn't find it very funny though), she also calls him 'big baddie' in a endearing way and 'lover' in a syrupy and sometimes sarcastic way.
Yakone calls her by her name most of the time but sometimes he uses 'darling' and 'baby girl' (the latter when he wants to tease and annoy her).
What happened when they met each other’s parents? (As per request, I’ll do this one as Yakone meeting Korra’s parents and Korra meeting Yakone’s sons).
When Yakone met Tonraq and Senna... Well, it was a huge shock seeing as Yakone was significantly older than them and that was jarring for everyone involved. Tonraq tried to be polite and ignore the man's questionable past but he never manages to like Yakone at all and keeps telling Korra that she can do better; as for Senna, after being really suspicious of Yakone at first, she ends up finding him surprisingly charming and is willing to give him a chance without judgement.
When Korra met Yakone's family things got intensely awkward, considering who his sons are, add to that Noatak developed an instant crush on her and Tarrlok disapproved of the relationship (likely out of jealousy) and you get a rather messy situation. Eventually Korra won all the men over and has them wrapped around her fingers but there's still a lot of jealousy going around.
How do they apologize after an argument?
Apologize? Who says they apologize?
Yakone wouldn't apologize if it killed him and Korra is so stubborn that if he won't apologize than neither will she. However, after either a bout of angry sex or a while sulking away from each other, they always end up gravitating back to each other as if nothing happened.
What would they be like as parents?
Well, considering Yakone's track record with parenting I get a feeling Korra wouldn't want kids with him at all but if they did have them she'd be the one taking control of the children and she'd watch him like a hawk just to be sure he didn't repeat past mistakes.
Yet, Korra would still be the playful parent that gives them lot's of freedom to make their own mistakes and tries to teach them to be good people while Yakone would be the overly strict father that compensates for his faults by spoiling them rotten and trying to teach them that they can be better than everyone else so long as they try hard enough.
Who is the better cook?
Neither of them, they both have very basic cooking skills but no patience to actually make anything so they mostly eat out or have take out or depend on other people to cook for them.
Who is more romantic?
Yakone, he has a ridiculously sappy and old fashion notion of romance despite his fierce reputation and he makes a big deal out of courtship and romantic outings even if Korra finds it pointless, she still enjoys the attention though.
What sort of gifts do they get for each other?
Yakone gives all the traditional and cliché gifts like flowers, perfumes, treats and specially jewelry. Korra usually rolls her eyes at his grand gifts because most of them don't suit her all that much but being Water Tribe he still manages to get it right from time to time and find something that makes her happy.
Korra gives unorthodox gifts, usually things she finds on random outings or trips abroad. Just like Yakone himself, she doesn't often find gifts that suit him (generation gap and all) but she does manage to get him interested in some of the things she likes such a more youthful music and foreign foods.
Who gets jealous easiest?
Yakone and he's not very nice about it, his jealousy is usually what starts the great majority of their arguments (and if Korra knew the amount of people that have ended up hurt after trying to flirt or make a move on her, she'd probably argue with him even more).
Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas?
Korra, she gets over excited and tries to drag him into the spirit of the celebrations.
Yakone doesn't care for such things, he often just buys some expensive gifts for whomever he's supposed to (Korra or his sons) and leaves it at that.
Who is the most adventurous?
They both are but Korra takes far more risks, age has made Yakone more cautions.
Who is the most protective?
They both are but he is more possessive.
What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?
....That is completely impossible to imagine.
