Suffering from withdrawal symptoms of #yalc... This is serious, guys. I can't stop thinking about the three awesome days I spent at the most amazing Young Adult Literary Convention ever. I got to attend panels from so many brilliant authors --some of them i already knew and loved and some of them I didn't but got to love afterwards --and listen to them talk about modern-day-teenage-issues they write about, something that was mind-opening! And I got the chance to meet some of my most favorite authors of all time in person --such as this awesome soul here, @maggie_stiefvater! I've been a fan of hers ever since I read Shiver(#thewolvesofmercyfalls) in Greek years ago and became obsessed with her writing. Now I follow her on social media (everywhere she has an account 😅) and read every single piece of post or blog entry or article she shares, even when it's about race cars that I don't understand. I just live it all. It speaks magic to me. SHE is magic. And she was there to share funny stories we were all hungry for and then signed our books for THREE HOURS, making sure she interacted with humor and interest with every single fan she met. She's such a beautiful person, a unique soul that you meet rarely in your life. And I'm so grateful I met her, even if it was for a minute. Totally worth it.
