My beloved sundew 🥰
The giant canyon isopods I got today are so shy, took a bit to even get this pic. Probably going to move them into the oreo crumbles old enclosure once I get a bigger one setup for them.
Oreo crumbles are doing great and keep having babies. Can't wait to get them into their new home. The only ones I can tell apart are the white w/ a black head and mixed antenna,
the all white one,
and the black one with only a white left butt cheek.
One of the classics
Epiperneum sp. most likely. A number of vining plants used to be under pothos, and still are marketed as such, but many have been moved into different genera. Hoping to eventually raise one to flowering since I've heard it's pretty rare to see due to them not being grown to maturity and genetics that cause gibberelin deficiency, a hormone involved in growth and flowering.
I have so many cuttings of this growing around the place. Trying to make a living curtain for my bathroom window. Also throwing more outside to cover the walls come spring.
Compost sluggy and some kinda allium
Treeeeeeeeeeeeee time today
Plerandra elegantissima. This thing has hopped genus a couple of times apparently. Always knew it as dizogytecha but that's outdated as of 2013 it looks like. Common name false aralia. Need to split and repot these into new medium.
Pachira aquatica. Common names include Guiana Chestnut and one of the plants to bear the Money Tree moniker. Also known as Cat Snack in this house.
First semihydro potting that I'm trying with something nonporous as a top covering, and it's working well to help keep the medium more moist. Deciding between lichen, rocks, or a combo to help cover the inner pot and the cork around the top.
