I live only one state away from you and you can’t drive ten miles without having to go around one

Well I’ve never really traveled far from my town, Cumberland. I never really traveled far in Massachusetts either. I pretty much live at the border of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and the farthest I’ve ever gone in Massachusetts is Boston.

Oh geez, I remember that I didn't finish the first game either, because fighting Voldemort was so hard! I guess I was just really bad a computer games > > And Filch was terrifying, too! I still remember being really proud of myself because in one game I had, like, 5 scars in the corner and I thought that made me better than all the other wizards!

he was, though!!! and i was terrible at computer games, believe me lol.  to this day i'm awful at video games.  that might have something to do with me only ever playing the harry potter pc games and nothing else as a kid bwhaah

part of the reason i keep playing the games is bc i think there's still at least a few things i missed in each one!  like, i played the third game again a couple years ago and found secret rooms i'd somehow never found before :oo and i think i've only ever gotten all the wizard cards once in the second and third games, if that...

I definitely would! Unfortunately my parents threw out all my old games 3 or 4 years ago, so I hope I can get my hands on some in the future! I also remember that snail falling part, that was the scariest thing! I remember getting my parents to play the really hard parts like the thestrals in the 5th game… in fact, I never even finished the game because I couldn't get past that part!

that's so sad DD:  a friend of mine found one of them used for really cheap at a game store, so that's probably a good place for them!

funnily enough, the bits i had the most trouble with were in the first game- i hated the parts where you had to sneak by filch and ride the broomstick to catch the flying key.  and fighting voldemort was pretty hard too.

I was exactly the same! I didn't own all of them, butI think I had 1, 2, 3, and 5… I remember sometimes I'd stop and listen in real life because I thought I could hear a firecrab charging! And the snails, too… Unfortunately, I stopped being able to play when my parents bought a mac as our new home computer, and I haven't been able to play again since then :( I miss them!

holy shit i was terrified of the snails.  there was that one bit in the second game where they drop out of the ceiling and it was literally my WORST FEAR lol.  and since i was reeeally young at the time i even got my dad to play the "scary parts" a lot of the time, like that bit and the basilisk and the dementors.

that's such a shame!!  if you ever, ever get the chance to play them again you have to take it >///<

2nd hp game was life. I think I finished that game like 9 times during the course of my childhood

forreal?  aifjaosifjsaiojfsa i'm so happy to hear that.  i’ve played all the games but to this day that one is still my favorite.  it makes me so happy.  i know it by heart lol, when i was little i used to dream about playing it.  nowadays i still play it sometimes as a stress reliever. i really dread that a day might come that it’ll no longer be compatible on any system and no one will care enough to reboot it.
