I cannot stop headcannoning Atem as aroace, which is real awkward when my friend largely likes to RP romances, but... the dude is just so stubbornly aroace in my mind. There's no way he's excited for a political marriage or running off with a maid. I enjoy it greatly in fics, but when it comes to thinking through his motivations myself, I just can't see it.
