Doodles I forgot to post #6: Pointy and Shifter (part 1)!

Of course the flower kids have a lot of unposted art! Also yes, someone did indeed suggest I draw Shifter with the Super Crown. That should tell you how old some of these are.

This is yan!Pointy soul form 1 and 2-or-3! (In the RP they were 2 and 3, due to everyone forgetting getting a soul changed your appearance so his 1-soul form was nigh-identical to his 0-soul form.) He also had 4 and 6 soul forms, but they were so messy and ugly they weren’t good enough to salvage.

Yan!Pointy’s theme is “corrupted innocence”. He tries to appear more cute and approachable, thus the bow on the first form (he can move it as he likes and the ribbons function like vines!), but his darker side seeps through more the more souls he gets - thus the seeping liquid in his second form. I never figured out colors, but I imagine he’d get brighter and more pastel-like colors the more souls he gets, to go with the cute aesthetic.

Also he learns to make knife magic. No more need to use a regular ol’ knife!

Alright, I am really not one for artistic prowess. This is my 2nd art piece outside my own profile insignia. However, like my profile picture, this sprang forth from an idea I really wanted to act upon. And, upon completion, I figured it should be seen by at least one other person.

So here it is, a fan-made cover for an event where Pointy has to meet two of his gruesome variants. An event where the original Pointy and his askers need to bring out all the stops to ensure that the brother he seeks to one day come to terms with isn’t violently torn apart by a long dead husk, and to prevent Shifter from living a life blind and maimed by a version of Pointy who loves Shifter a little too hard.

More doujin cover sketches! So much fun~

I'd actually really like Dear Diary to be a real thing, because I imagine it to be full of joke strips which are the best kind of comics. Color Palette I think was to be about the way Pointy is influenced by those around him, and how difficult it is for him to be independent. The lion in Soft | Cruel Essence is Silk, Shifter's expy - it'd be fun to see how they'd interact. And the rest are hopefully pretty self explanatory!

I wonder if I should post little synopsis things of the doujin ideas next time ...?

Sometimes, I make up my own little fake fanfics and fancomic plots. Just silly ideas and ponderings for things that will never happen in canon - usually after I've been looking at doujins (japanese, physical fancomics).

As it turns out, sketching and designing covers for these little fake fancomics can be a fun way to practice cover art! A little tempted to make full drawings of some of them, that would be a good way to practice art styles.

(Trickster Circus was 100% made because I wanted to doodle Trickster Flowey.)
