DESIGNER YAN TO SHOOTS HIS AW12 COLLECTION
A fortnight ago, British designer Yan To, shot his A/W12 collection. I first met Yan back in 2010 and we have kept in touch ever since. He is very much an enigma, a kind, fun, creative person whose designs are rarely ever sketched and who sleeps less than five hours a day.
With no formal training, Yan is self-taught and usually works from his home in the Leicestershire countryside. An amazing creative, he has the ability to make something out of little concepts he thinks of and reworks and reworks them until they are perfect. Check out some images I shot of Yan's forthcoming AW12 collection that took place in a studio in Brick Lane.
