Yandere! Sinclair Hcs
Warnings: Yandere trope, obsession, Canto 3 spoilers, gender neutral darling, theft mentioned, overprotective behavior, unhealthy mindsets, violence
❆ Probably one of the most tame Yanderes you can get on the bus. He's very meek. Even after his Canto he isn't the most violent, confident, or outspoken as his peers. That being said he still can go head over heels in obsession.
❆ He's quick to obsess. His anxious behavior now made much, much worse by your presence. Stuttering and stammering when you talk to him, face flushing red when you compliment him, and staring at you from across the bus. The other sinners now have easy ammunition to tease him for.
❆ He creates an idealized version of you in his head pretty early on. Quick to heed to your beck and call if you want. While he may get upset with the others picking on him, if you do it, he nervously laughs along. He's getting attention, even if it stings a bit. Mistakes are acknowledged but in some way downplayed in his head. You're flawed but you aren't judged as harshly by him.
❆ He overthinks everything you say. One moment he thinks you're in love with him as well.. the next he's in hysterics in his mind thinking that you hate him with all your heart. He gets easily upset if he thinks he's so much as even mildly annoyed you. Quickly going quiet in the conversation. Meanwhile in his room he's losing his shit.
❆ He may even start taking notes. Ramblings and paranoid thoughts about what you could possibly think of him. Journaling notable events. Notes ln you. All hastily and sloppily written.
❆ He occasionally might steal things from you as well. Only once in a while compared to others. He's deathly afraid of getting caught. He also attempts to follow you around.. mainly by just outright asking or tagging along. He's not the best at being sneaky at this point. Plus it's a way to be physically close to you and spend time.
❆ He makes note of what you like and do not like. As best as he can anyways. Mainly what you don't like so he can avoid it. He attempts to invest himself in your interest. Trying to impress with his knowledge and commitment. He's also quick to try and shield you from things you don't like. You don't like blood and guts like him? He's covering your eyes and shielding you as best he can when blood inevitably flows.
❆ He peers into the mirror world's. Wondering if he can get a glance at another you. Scared yet curious.. are you two together in any? Are you paired up in one?.. any that don't that ideal he tries to ignore as tears well up. That's just a different reality. One possibility. It's not this one. It can't be. If there's more worlds with you two together in it.. surely it means it's more likely in this one right?
❆ He meekly tries to speak up if other sinners seem to make you uncomfortable. Even if you haven't directly expressed or complained. Even with his devotions to you he still is easy for the other Sinners to talk over. Leaving him silently gritting his teeth. After whatever instance he'll check in on you, prodding to see if you're okay.
❆ He isn't explosive in his jealousy. He doesn't make snappy comments or bash anyone's head in. He just silently seethes and pouts as others are given your attention. Good forbid they hit on you. His hand grips onto his weapon you'd think he was about to snap it in half. A glint in his eye that yearns to explode. Grudges taking root.
❆ Similar to other Sinners, the battles they're thrown into are an outlet. Combatants intending to kill them are easier to justify hurting. He'll thrust himself into the forefront, more violent towards enemies, and yet not caring how much damage he takes. His jealousy seeping through each of his blows. Each blow he takes he sees as sufficient punishment for any errors he's made with you.
❆ His behaviors change once his canto hits and in the aftermath of it. He becomes more insecure. Insecure about one thing. His ability to protect you. The ability to keep you safe from Kromer's cruel gaze that makes him want to vomit. He doesn't want to be even more pathetic in front of you. You shouldn't have to witness the horror of limbs of all sorts strewn into the trees with viscera of his old town.
❆ He's pleading for you to stay on the bus. Emotional outbursts. A much colder tone you haven't heard before. He doesn't know what those fanatics out there will do to you. This is his nightmare to confront. Stay here. They won't take him from you too.
❆ He's more violent than ever. Wailing into Kromer's followers, his weapon shaking with each impact, yelling obscenities as his eyes dart around in panic. He's shoving you out of the way of any danger. Shouting at you to hide. He won't leave you side between these moments. Weapon on the ready. More jumpy than ever. The smallest noises make him twitch.
❆ He's haywire once you actually come face to face with Kromer. He's shielding and hiding you as much as possible. His nerves scream as you try to motivate him to fight back in some way. Clamoring up the mountain of flesh as parts of him melt. Just so he can tear into her wretched face. She won't take another thing he holds so dear from him. He won't be a coward. He'll claw out her damn eyes if she speaks so she can't look at you.
❆ After all done, he's clinging to you, sobbing loudly. His nervousness shoved down by his fear of you being injured. Not paying attention to the fact he's getting blood and snot on you. His nails digging into you as if he's gripping on for life. To him he is.
❆ After the canto his other behavior dies down as he becomes slightly more sure of himself. It's not gone of course. He can just think more coherently in his obsession. As a trade off.. other behaviors ramp up.
❆ He bickers back with other Sinners when they bother you. Still shut up by them. However the anger in his eyes is much more violent than before. Muttering under his breath.
❆ He's more protective. Staying glued to your side on any missions and outings. He takes blows for you where he can. Trying to shove his own entrails in so you won't see them spill. He's more adamant with Dante about you staying back if possible. You two may even get in minor fights over it.
❆ He may even try flirting if others encourage him. It comes out awkward, jumbled, and harmless. However make no mistake, he may be safer than the others, but he has his own dangers that come with. Hatching out of the depths of his soul to grasp at you.
