Psychrophobia is an obsessive fear of cold — the fear of freezing.

To me, cold feels like icy hands slipping under every cell of your body and soul, reaching for your heart. When it stops beating, you will never be alive again.

You keep thinking about those cold hands that can take your life away, and it steals both physical and mental peace. Like a child trapped in someone’s enormous, gripping hands.
