Honestly, every time I see your username I'm like 'oh, you mean Xiao Xingchen?' Because he is a fairy I mean really LOOK AT HIM (Song Jiyang what is your FACE). And Yu Mingye deserves a soft beautiful boyfriend all in white, and Xiao Xingchen deserves to be happy and so does Yu Mingye (and I have angst ideas about how YMY looks like/is clearly an alternate universe version of/ Xue Yang, and how XXC is BLIND and would need to tell the difference by feeling his left hand and counting fingers.)

Song Jiyang is ethereally beautiful. He’s more of a god than a fairy. I think Xiao Xingchen has had enough of anything remotely Xue Yang-shaped for a life time, but he does deserve someone to live him properly! So does Yu Mingye. He’d probably treasure Xingchen. From Yu Mingye’s own canon, I think he should be with Huang Li. She had major character development into a capable kickass fighter and clearly has a crush on Yu Mingye. She’s a brave and strong cultivator so they’ll make good cultivation partners.

Huang Li in action during the Battle for Junwu. I don’t understand why the writers teased us with a flirty interaction between her and Yu Mingye that was then never mentioned again. Huang Li would’ve made an awesome match for Yu Mingye.
