Yeah, it was awesome and I was bouncing around all giddily afterwards...if it hadn't been in a crowded convention hall I would have gone for a happy-run to burn off some energy :D  I really didn't want to be pushy or annoying but would have cheerfully talked longer!  And thank you :D

You know, I didn't even think of him and now I'm so jazzed at the possibility :D :D  It does seem very plausible, particularly considering Axel's presence in the story.  Fingers crossed!!

No problem, glad to help :D  I've heard from someone that Roscoe was intended to be an ongoing antagonist in the Hawk and Dove book, but it was cancelled and they had to wrap things up abruptly.  I haven't heard independent confirmation of it, but I trust the source and certainly the Kesels had to hurriedly resurrect him and then defeat him in the next issue (after many issues of slow build-up) so it seems likely.

Also, I wanted to thank @phynali for a lovely comment a few weeks ago and apologize for not replying sooner; I didn't realize until today that the <3 you sent (that's how it's rendered on my computer) was meant to be a heart, and wasn't sure what your comment meant.  So thank you for your <3, which is very much appreciated :)

ladyrixx replied to your ask post: There are two books out there that might help. One is called _Creepy Cute Crochet_. While it does have patterns for specific dolls, it also has tools like "this is how to do a body" "this is how to do an arm". The tools helped me figure out how to make my husband a bunch of Silent Hill characters within a month of me learning to crochet. The other book is called _Amiguru-me_. It's by the lady that has done some excellent Doctor Who patterns. It explains how to make any one into an ami.

Batman too.  The situation with Barry and Roscoe is complicated and weird, TBH, and I have really mixed feelings about it -- and for what it’s worth, Barry is my favourite Flash, and of course Roscoe’s my favourite Rogue.  I appreciate that Barry didn’t want to hurt him and even wanted to help him, and god knows that would have required a lot of patience/forgiveness after the shit Roscoe had recently pulled.  And Barry was in a very difficult position, because Roscoe knew the his identity and those of his loved ones, and had crossed some major lines with them just to mess with him.  Plus you can’t kill the dude, because he’ll just come back.

All that said, there was some really skeevy stuff in that storyline.  What Barry had Zatanna do to him was nothing less than mind-control brainwashing, and Barry outright says that Roscoe wasn’t a person to him, just “an experiment”.  

We know that Roscoe felt intensely guilty after the brainwashing, and committed the ghost equivalent of suicide (his ghost jumped out of his body and went back to Hell due to distress).   And there’s something really awful about brainwashing a guy into attacking his own friends; it was never outright stated, but I strongly suspect one of the reasons the Rogues hate Roscoe so much is because he’d hunted them down when he’d been brainwashed.  We already know they hate him because he’d mind-controlled them...and again, this was all because of the brainwashing that was done to him.  However inadvertently, Barry/Zatanna played a role in poisoning his relationship with his only friends and family, and arguably helped ruin his life.

Now, I’m not going to pretend that Roscoe’s an innocent who had no role in a) getting brainwashed and b) ruining his relationship with the other Rogues.  He obviously did plenty to deserve both.  But the implications of that story are very unsettling, and moreso because none of that was never actually explored in the canon.  Maybe we’re meant to accept it and be okay with it..?  Certainly Johns doesn’t like him, and said in an interview that he deserved to be killed by Len.  But although Roscoe deserved consequences for what he did, IMO he didn’t deserve to be brainwashed, ostracized from his family, executed, and then have his killing justified on the grounds of revenge.

So suffice to say that story is weird for me because it involves two favourites behaving badly with some very dire consequences for Roscoe.
