Exactly.  No deference from her, and we've seen that he absolutely hates that...from anyone, but especially from women and people of colour.

Yeah, it was a huge waste, TBH.  I get that they didn’t have time to go into the cosmology of the Fourth World in a single movie (and apparently a lot of filmed material was cut in editing), but they could have done so much more with it than they did.  The Mother Boxes ended up as macguffins in the film because we learned almost nothing about them.

No problem, glad to help :D  I've heard from someone that Roscoe was intended to be an ongoing antagonist in the Hawk and Dove book, but it was cancelled and they had to wrap things up abruptly.  I haven't heard independent confirmation of it, but I trust the source and certainly the Kesels had to hurriedly resurrect him and then defeat him in the next issue (after many issues of slow build-up) so it seems likely.

Also, I wanted to thank @phynali for a lovely comment a few weeks ago and apologize for not replying sooner; I didn't realize until today that the <3 you sent (that's how it's rendered on my computer) was meant to be a heart, and wasn't sure what your comment meant.  So thank you for your <3, which is very much appreciated :)

Thank you!  And that's a great way to look at it, I like that :)  Fortunately I didn't see anyone there who was rude and everyone seemed really jazzed and positive about being there, so I hope he came away thinking it was a positive experience.  Certainly I had a positive one!

It's from Hawk and Dove v3 #28, which is the last issue of that run :)
