Our Summer Reading Program kicked off this Monday. We have had more than 50 teens sign up already! The drawing for our first awesome prize basket, the Fantasy Basket, will be this Friday. Check it out in this pic! If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, there is a link right on the homepage of our website, wellslibrary.org. Come in to pick up your bag with your reading log and other goodies and read all summer long. Check back in with us each week to add more raffle tickets with your name to the pot. You could win some amazing swag, just for reading :).

Passive activity

I had the idea for this after doing a worksheet for #PlotsExplainedBadly. The worksheet is movie titles translated to other languages and translated back to English. (It’s funnier than it sounds.)

Some of my favorites:

Our Book Lover Basket was the most coveted one in the bunch, and it went home with a very happy teen! Grand prizes in the WPL’s Teen Summer Reading Program will be drawn Monday, 8/14, so be sure to bring your calendar in this week and get all your tickets in the basket before then!
