Here’s a throwback to when my son and I did a quick little yard crashers episode in our front yard. We had this horrendous looking cinder block planter wall in our front yard and we weren’t (spoiler: still aren’t) sure what to do with it. We decided to put up a temporary little half wall facade to camouflage it in the mean time. Used cedar 2x4’s as the battens and redwood tongue and groove for the boards. Although it’s not in this video, I did put a cap and side on the wall and my wife stained it. This diy project had some issues and lessons learned for sure. I put the tongue and groove upside down for instance and in retrospect I may have started from the top instead of the bottom. Might have saved us from having to redo all the tongue and groove due to a measuring snafu! Yeah that sucked! 😳 . . . . . #diyprojects #planterwall #yardcrashers #tongueandgroove (at Long Beach, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDRN3NtDFSo/?igshid=1gr13cwl46pdu
