When I was trying to teach myself to crochet I started by working on small panels with only the tunisian stitch.

It made sense to me. Long rows of loops on a hook similar to knitting. It was fairly two dimensional. Straight lines that only went up. And I had the benefit of getting used to holding a single tool.

I ended up with several panels and decided to make a blanket!!

It's small; just big enough for my littlest to use it as a blanket. (He enjoys using as a pretend picnic blanket)

I learned a lot from working on this blanket!

This man makes me laugh so dang hard. He just looks so goofy. I had to have one.

Yarn from yesterday's dying experiment. The purple came out just as I had hoped. Blue is pretty close... And that last one.. was supposed to be a mossy green. It came out much more brown/grey. I am hoping one more dye bath of just green will help.

We've been watching the Hobbit trilogy today, but I've been working on crochet projects and haven't seen a single g.d. frame of it.

On the last movie and one whole project is done and one new one started and still no frame has been viewed by mine eyes.

This pattern is great for stash busting, but would be best for an intermediate or experienced yarner. The pattern isn't written well for a beginner and requires a little bit of detective work.

Been wearing these around for the last couple days. Very useful. They are the first socks I've knitted that fit! Used a loom knitter, pink was all e stitch I think toe and heel were knit. Made them a couple years back.
