I would say that there were more points to say that twins are more OP than Inuyasha who is a proper half human half demon.
So Towa's sword Zanseiken is one of the sword of God of stars.
Osamu Kirin tells Towa that -

But just few minutes before this, Towa had developed or adapted her attack with the sword while trying to absorb the demonic energy of the freaking giant Grim comet and attacking it. (Bonus, she is remembering her adoptive family that she is trying to save).
In one of the previous episodes, Towa almost died after using Zanseiken to absorb the demonic energy of Kirinmaru's attack on Sesshomaru. Akuru had to give her Kon to revive her.
But here we have her absorbing the comet's demonic energy and recovering from it pretty soon.
I just mentioned about Setsuna's fire powers in the previous Anon Ask.
Why are they so over powered? What makes them so special that they inhibit traits that even their Father and Grandpa doesn't have? The way twins have been displaying their powers, they should have been branded "daiyokai" a long time ago lol.
Also, Setsuna crying an hugging Towa when Towa recovers, unlike certain someone.
Twins are trying to come back to feudal era because Osamu Kirin wants to kill all demons in the past (and he just took the comet to the feudal era lol). New moon is coming soon.
Twins are going to have another new moon night. During the last one we saw Setsuna becoming a dark haired Rapunzel and Towa sporting her regular red eyes. What will they show this time?

S*ssrin and romantic? It's like Usagi drop. Even Usagi drop anime had the decency to stop the story before it went creepy.
As for the story, I think there is something coming. But the writing and execution is so bad... so idk.
Here are somethings in the story that doesn't make sense. (It's a long post)
Half-demons loses all their demonic powers during their "human nights", only their human features should appear. Yet we have the twins who have -
1) Hair growing longer on their human nights and both of them having different texture of hair.
2) Even their eye color and skin color look different.
Their human nights should leave them with physical features belonging to their human parent only, but if you look at the pics you would think Sesshomaru had two different human wives.
3) They shouldn't have any demonic energy but still we have a demon sensing Setsuna's "weak demonic energy" on her human night.
Also, this episode featured human Setsuna talking to Kirara and understanding what she said. In the same episode we had this snow demon talking to and understanding his little snow demons.
4) Towa having her red eyes on her human night. And that's not because of the red light reflecting. She had her brown eyes before.
Not to mention their hair streaks that stays regardless.
Then we also have random powers that don't belong to the dog demons like moon of resting moths, butterfly wings, cyclone burst, Towa's demonic energy absorption etc.
What's also weird is that Rin, who just came out of the tree, doesn't ask for "her daughters", but she is concerned with "saving" Zero. Mind you, she saw Towa crying and suffering but she talks about Zero first.
She should be least concerned with Zero given the fact that Zero not only cursed her that kept her in tree for 14 years, but she was also after twins' lives. Isn't it odd?
Plus this episode was heavy with Kagura's death scene imagery. I don't know what they are alluding to, but they do have something up their sleeve for sure.
AHAHAHAH I've just learned that Rin never said "Our girls saved Zero" but "Those girls saved Zero"... so impersonal 🤣🤣🤣 This one must be the most unromantic reunion ever, a 2 secs long clip during the end credits where Pedomaru doesn't even talk or smile at Rin, just nods (mind you, the very first sign of acknowledgement he gives Rin after one and half seasons, in the next episode he's gonna give his back to her again). There is no explicit romantic moment like an emotional hug or a kiss, that was what pedo Sessrinners where hoping for 🤡🤡🤡 A platonic reunion between father and daughter rather than a romantic one between husband and wife. But I guess sinners are now forced to show a fake smile and claim that was everything they ever wanted for their garbage pedo ship, when in the meanwhile shortly after the episode was aired, S*ssrin fanarts where their reunion involved a kiss where already drawn. Their only hope for explicit romantic material are just the unofficial fanarts of one of the animators he merely publishes on his Twitter and are never shared on Shitrise official account 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah.. I doubt a lot of people know that she said ✨"ano kotachi"✨ meaning "those children" (courtesy google translate) and this is not the first time.

He doesn't even spare some time to get Rin out of the dream world. He instead leaves her to Jaken AGAIN. As always.
Sesshomaru and Kirinmaru is going to fight each other again. But I noticed it's like a "flashback" of the past when Toga and Kirinmaru fought, it's a reverse this time coz it's Sesshomaru who's got a child with him, he even told Rin not to move and watch him fight, just like Kirinmaru. Is Rin going to die again just like Rion? Lol.
Why is Sunrise doing these parallels of Kirinmaru-Rion and Sesshomaru-Rin? They even showed Kirinmaru cupping Rion's cheek just like Sesshomaru did when Rin got revived by his mother. Sunrise? What bullcrap is this? Unless, Kirinmaru is also a pedo.

For Rion, it was Kirinmaru who took her everywhere to show off how much powerful he is.

Sesshomaru-Rin and Kirinmaru-Rion parallel is not even the first time.
Rion's death parallels Rin's second death! Both jerk fathers paid a heavy price for letting their daughters tag along with them everywhere.

As usual, I don't have a direct answer. But a few possible points of interest.
This episode was twins trying to fight a demon created from the wrath of demons who perished trying to use the Windmill of Time.

As expected, the girls defeated Meidomaru by exposing his strings of fate tied to the Windmill and Setsuna cut that.
BUT,
The Windmill did not start turning.
It started spinning when Akuru gives his pinwheel to Towa and she blows on it.
Interestingly, there are other instances in the series when the Windmill of Time moved.
According to Inukimi, the Windmill wasn't supposed to move because of wrath of demons yada yada.
BUT,
the Windmill moved a little, BOTH TIMES when Zero dies.
Yeah sure, Towa was chosen by Akuru and she could use the pinwheel to turn the Windmill, but Zero?
They used Kagura flowers during Zero's death and Rin more concerned about Zero getting "saved" more than Towa's well-being.
And we already have a still pinwheel spinning in front of Towa in two separate instances.
How all this connects is still a mystery.
I also wanted to add that even in this episode they explained the concept of Haku and Kon.
Haku - the source of power to move body.
Kon - spiritual power to move mind (spirit).
Just saying.. it is important since they keep bringing it up.
If Rin isn’t the mom, why even list her on the relationship chart?
Why not? I mean as much as I don't want her to be linked romantically with Sesshomaru anywhere, Yashahime literally shoved s*ssrin onto us starting with EP15, so them listing her in the relationship chart is just confirming that narrative.
What's surprising to me is how and when she was listed. Rin appeared in EP 4 but wasn't even put in relationship chart until EP 15, meaning that they didn't put Rin on the chart twice.
On the other hand, Treekyo who appeared once and the mysterious Purple Butterfly that no one is talking about, have been sitting in the chart since beginning.
When Rin was added in the chart, she wasn't even connected to anyone, even though she was just revealed as the "mother".
Last chart update for season 1 also had no one connected to Rin.
It was in season 2 after EP 5 that she was listed as married couple (🤢) with her Hogosha.
If Rin was the Mom since EP 15, why not list her earlier? Why now? It's not as if they were shy in promoting s*ssrin before.
Now that Rin is out, they can very well put her besides Sesshomaru in the relationship chart even for a fake narrative.
Since Sesshomaru is shown taking a fatal hit, I can only hope that Rin and him switch places in the chart.

It's coming to a full circle. It's really weird and disgusting that they are implying so hard that their relationship is of father and daughter but showing that they are husband and wife🤢 Especially with this child looking Rin which shippers fiercely like to defend as "petite woman".

I do keep in mind that there could be inconsistencies due to bad writing, but not all of them. There are many that are there on purpose.
Like for instance when Setsuna became Rapunzel on her human night, and we know that Rin has a christmas tree hair, their official tweet is like, "notice this senpai."
I doubt they would want to highlight their mistakes.

Like that flip anon said, Inuyasha is a perfect mix of human mother and demon father. He got doggie ears, claws, fangs and white hair for being half demon and loses all of that when he turns human.
Heck, even Moroha is a perfect mix of human mother and half demon father down to her looks. She has claws and fangs. Gets her demonic powers from her father's side and spiritual powers from her mother's side. When she turns Beniyasha, her eyes turn yellow and has purple marks on her eye like Inuyasha's marks on his cheek when he turns berserk.
While on the other hand, twins look nothing like Rin, are supposed to be half human/half demon but they don't lose all of their powers on their human night. Instead they grow out their hair and both of them have different hair texture, length and different shades of brown eye color. Their half form don't have any claws, demon ears or fangs. Only abnormal eye color and white hair for Towa. They have stubborn red hair streaks that don't even go away in their human nights. They could have used Setsuna's human version to look like Rin, but instead she is way different than Rin, and even Towa.
If everything comes from their father's side, lets say even human nights, what do they get from Rin?
As the flip anon said, why even use Kagura callbacks for twins if Rin is the mother? Kagura was a canon love interest of Sesshomaru in OG, would it make sense to use her imageries and callbacks on twins? Or use imageries of any other woman for that matter. I can understand if they wanted to keep people guessing who the mom was, but after EP 15, they should have stopped.
Not only is it not respectful to Kagura (not that sinners would care), but it would be disrespectful to their fav ship.
Even Rumiko and Narita Ken said that they think of Sesshomaru as Rin's parent/guardian figure. They could very well be trying to save their asses, but is this something to add in your guidebook that already listed them as married couple? Rumiko even put Rin in Kagura's kimono for the manga cover. Was that a cry for help?
Even the storyline, Sesshomaru put in Zero's pearls in his infants eyes, why? What purpose did it serve other than Zero being able to use those pearls to torture Towa with her memories? Why was Rin praying for Zero's safety when Zero was the one who was trying to actively kill twins and cursed Rin for 14 years?
Even if you pass it off as Rin being a kind and forgiving person, would it make sense that she was concerned for Zero, but not about the twins who were facing her?
Even the s*srrin portrayal is off. They use Kagura's flower field for them, EP 15 don't even have them in same frame, he didn't even talk to Rin until today, Jaken is always present when they interact like a third wheel.
They could have easily given them shipping moments 🤢.
They could have showed Sesshomaru and Rin's past.
They could have made twins like Rin. Even if they changed their minds about their mother after S1, Setsuna should be more like Rin in her human form.
They could have given a proper reunion, instead Sesshomaru is fatally injured as soon as Rin came out and now he is dying.
I will not even get started with the extra powers they have, coz they are anyways unrelated to Rin.
You see all of this, and much more, only for episode 15s to come out. It like they have a big label with Rin as Mom, but are screaming and showing otherwise.
Honestly, I am not sure what crap they are pulling because even their alleged fav ship ain't getting anything from it.
