Got this mint condition (virtually unused) Yashica 44 LM at a sweet price because the eBay seller sent me the wrong item and didn't want to pay for return shipping. Even the old fashioned light meter still works. He clearly isn't a photographer because this could sell for 3 to 4 times what I paid in this condition. The only drawback is that this camera uses 127 film, a format that isn't widely used today. It sits between 35mm and 120 film, shooting 4cm by 4cm negatives (hence the 44). Only one or two companies still manufacture this size film. But there are guides to convert 35mm film to use in this camera which should be a fun project. Still waiting on my Yashica Mat EM though, so I can take photos with all this 120 film I have 😅 #filmphotography #yashica #yashica44 #127film #tlr #tlrcamera #vintagecameras https://www.instagram.com/p/BsRPxiulyQf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=rkljmvsjccl4
