Like most children I was fascinated by the vastness and the spontaneity of nature. I used to stare at branches without blinking until all of them blurred together into a blob so when I shut my eyes they were temporarily burned into my vision. It would make it so that every time I blinked they would all flash back with an array beautiful colors, similar to when you rub your palms on your closed eyelids in the dark. I guess you could say that nearly 20 years later I still engage in a similar activity, except it only involves a camera. This is a small collection of photos I've shot on 35mm film of branches and nature that I still find fascinating.
