In the latest interview. It was revealed that Riku was originally planned to die. But Rumiko Takahashi felt bad for Towa and had him revived. This reveals several things. One Rumiko ships RiTowa. And two Rumiko must have approved of SessRin because if she didn't like it she could of made them rewrite it. That debunks any anti claims that Rumiko didn't approve of SessRin.

Please anti-sessrin's be consistant

If you consider Sesssrin pedophilia then you should consider Inukag pedophilia since Kagome was only 15 when Inuyasha met Kagome. If your going to argue Inukag is okay because Inuyasha's demon age is only 15. Then this should also apply to Sesshomaru who's demon age is only 19 and he would have fathered the twins with Rin when she was 18 based on the official time line. You can't apply super natural logic to Inukag and then apply real world logic when talking about Sessrin.

Sesshomaru was never meant to be Rin’s father

Sesshomaru traveled with Rin for only one year and then left her to be raised by Kaede. Sesshomaru’s story arc was about learning about compassion. He did this not by becoming Rin’s father but by finding her a new home. It is established by the end of Inuyasha that Sesshomaru was not capable of raising Rin. She was constantly being kidnapped by demon’s and it was clear that being with Sesshomaru was putting her in constant danger. Rumiko Takahashi stated in interviews that she considered Jaken to be more of a father figure for Rin than Sesshomaru than Sesshomaru ever was. Sesshomaru as Rin’s father is a headcannon. And not remotely consistent with the shows narrative.
