Day 1 - Arrival
Traveling to Cuba is always very special and more special if you are visiting with a major personality in the world of baseball, as in the case of Yasiel Puig.
After months of preparation we landed at José Martí International Airport with a group of 18 friends, fans and supporters of Yasiel Puig’s Wild Horse Foundation. The emotions were high and exciting as this was the first visit for every single one of them, and more special for those who are 2nd or 3rd generation Cuba descendants.
The airport process was smooth and fairly quickly...
The driver and guide we had arranged were already waiting for us as soon as we walked out of the terminal. Loaded up our luggage and headed to Parque Central IberoStar Hotel in Old Havana to begin this incredible journey in Cuba.
