cherilyn had decided that once she stepped foot off the hogwarts express, she’d go off and try to find her birth mother, unbeknownst to anyone in the valentine family besides yasmine. the great thing was, she had found carla in the first two days back in spain — a relief for cherry that she was still alive. however, she had an entirely new family of kids that she stuck around to raise, and cherilyn’s presence was far from welcome. her planned week long trip cut short, only for her to actually spend the rest of it traveling around her birth place to get the disappointment off of her mind. truly, it wasn’t something she wanted to bring home that would cause evangeline or selene to pry into where exactly she went. instead, upon her arrival back to the valentine’s home, she went straight to yasmine’s room. leaning against the open doorway, she watched her for a few moments until finally making her presence known. ❛ miss me, or something ? ❜
