'C'mon I'm the good guy here!!'
@yasmuses :: josh A wave a confusion swept over the demigod as his boat washed onto the shore of a strange land. This was not one of his previously found islands; 'Someone else had to have pulled this one from the seas' This island itself caused him to put his guard up, every sound making him uneasy. It was as though there were creatures fighting or snarling...but it was unlike any monsters he had heard before. Maui gripped his hook tightly as he made his way up the beach, preparing to strike in an instant should he be threatened. As he got closer to end of the beach he noticed strange buildings that didnt exactly look like any homes he had ever seen in Motonui. Everything towered over him, and the air was thick with something that smelled foul. He quickly shifted into a lizard as he came up on a like path that seemed to be made of stone that had been marked in some strange fashion, and continued on his way only to be stopped as a snarl and gust of wind pushed him back. Just as he feared these monsters were unlike anything he had ever seen, causing him to turn into a large jaguar in defense. He ran across the stone path, jumping on one of the monsters as it came to a hault infront of him, then began snarling and clawing at himself. Of course Maui was simply making a terrifying scene for any passers by. It took him a moment to even notice people walking along a side part of the stone path. He turned into his normal form and looked to them reassuringly, "Do not fear mortals!! Ill take out these beasts one by one if I have to to keep them from contuining their reign of terror!!" Maui then proceeded to slam his hook through the hood of the monster he was currently standing on, terrifying the driver and causing them to run off from the car. A familiar wave of confusion rushed over him to see people running in fear, this wasnt the usual reaction he received. He hopped down from the hood of the car to quickly head to the crowd, grabbing the first person he could by the shoulder, "C'mon I'm the good guy here dont be scared. Its me! Maui!"
