So I recently started to learn korean because i love kpop and want to actually understand the language. I read your self learners post and decided i should watch K-dramas, do you know if i can trust Netflix subtitles?

I’d say they’re quite reliable, but the place I recommend for Korean Dramas is Viki ~~ they have a large selection and their subtitles are personally provided by members of the community! :3

Before this, here’s a disclaimer: you do not need an “aesthetic” space to be a studyblr, or to study at all. I, for instance, study with a desk cluttered with food, papers, etc. Designing your study space is not a valid excuse for procrastinating homework, okay?

Now on to the post. This is a collection of tips for making your study space a better place. I got most of these tips from @sleepbreathestudy’s post, so credit to them. If you have any suggestions, please add to this post! Enjoy :)

FOR YOUR DEVICE (COMPUTER, LAPTOP, ETC.)

Block distractions; that way, you can make the most of your time.

Cold Turkey (Windows)

Self Control (Mac)

Adjust the lighting. Staring into a glowing blue screen at night can hurt you.

f.lux (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android)

Accessorize for motivation. Every time you see your wallpaper, you’ll be reminded of your goal.

Get containers, so you can organize your things (e.g. pens, pencils) into separate places for organization.

Label everything. As someone who gets confused a lot, these will save you time.

Natural lighting is the best! If possible, position your study space near a window so you can get the most of the sunlight. If you can’t, substitutes are okay.
