are there any dolled you're definitely going to customize?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer:
Out of the dolls I showed off in my thrift dump, I’m definitely customizing the red-headed souvenir doll (I’ve named her Fantine for now) and the Incredibly Cursed Elsa (just looking at her was depressing, I wiped her face and took her hair out and felt much better).
Out of the dolls I didn’t show off in the dump- well, I’ve always got eleventy thousand projects of all types going all the time constantly, buuuut right now my doll WIPs are, in approximate order of importance:
1. The Mothra Girl dolls I’m making on commission for @tyrantisterror- if you want to watch the WIP unfold, check my #shobijin tag.
2. Two extremely late Christmas presents- a Hunter Huntsman and Ashlyn Ella pair of OOAKs, as it’d turn out- for two of my very best friends. Part of the reason they’re so late is that I’ve been doing other Doll Things to test out proofs of concept for the presents.
3. Ysabel, my vintage doll/Dream Fairy (quite possibly a recast?) hybrid. I’m mostly done with getting her Decent- I’ve got an outfit to make and shoes/socks to save up for.
4. My legit BJDs, which I’ve had for years but been too scared to touch. They were a gift from a very kind friend- a Resinsoul Lan (Katherine), Mirodoll Lele (Klaus), and an Impldoll Cassie (Maria).
5. A My Scene Nolee doll I started customizing in, like, October and left half-finished. She needs her faaaaace.
6. Assorted practice projects- a Jam n’ Glam Barbie, the aforementioned Elsa, and various bits of sewing silliness.
