Summary: Yasuke spends time with his family,now that everything is okay. He has a home,and a family he loves.

A storm had washed over the city. The home with thatched roofs and beautiful gardens and streams getting soaked under the rain,with thunder cracking Open the Sky. It rang out across the homestead in a choir of mother nature's Will.

Within the home,the family slumbers.

Yasuke feels Elio stirr,climbing over him from his left side. The ten year old grumbled in a mix of spanish and japanese as he tried to settle on her fathers chest.

--Whats the matter,starling?-- The samurais raspy voice can be felt in his chest. He rubs the sleep out of one of his eyes as he looks at his son. Messy,braided hair of brown and gold,brown skin and green eyes.

--Fallin' off of the bed-- he mumbled.

--Because you cant lay still. Just like your dad-- the older Man chuckled-- its okay,come here. -- he swaddled his boy in his arms,pressing a kiss to the top of her head.-- Rest now.

Thats when both heard another voice go:

--Awh. Cmon..-- Himari was peeking their head from the other side of Lazaros body. Theyre laying their chin on their dads chest and looking with groggy eyes. -- shush...too loud.

Their hair was much like his spanish dad,dame bi coloration. Only they had big,unruly curly hair. Their brown eyes blinking slowly with exhaustion.

--both of you are loud,like asnos (donkeys). -- they had a lot of attitude for an eight year old.

Yasuke chuckled and waved off the comment. He meets his childs gaze an answers:

--we're not the ones that snore.

Himari pouted, briefly surprised as Lazaro stirrs and pulls them upwards into a hug. He then flutters his eyes Open and looks at his husband,giving Him a smile.

--Whats the matter with you three?

--Chichue is being loud!-- Himari grumbled-- Same with my brother!

--Your dads not known for subtelty, my comet-- his lips pressed a kiss to their forehead-- Now rest the three of you.

Lazaro shuffled closer to his husband and closed his eyes. Himari eventually settles,laying down on his fathers chest. Theyre not yet asleep,but trying to.

Meanwhile,Yasuke Gently strokes up and down his sons back. He was going to get a massive grow spurt- he could tell. Anyway,he is surprised Rika hasnt waken up yet-

--Ow...-- He mumbled as their youngest child moved above him. They were resting on his loosened hair, gripping it like a plush as his small body was laying on the pillow.

Rika waddles all over his locks to smoosh himself between both of their dads. Her braided hair all over their face,his amber eyes closing quickly with the tiredness of having spent most morning running around the house. They liked their naps,not something any six year old would do.

Yasuke just gives up as his three kids gang up on him to not let him rest. He swears he hears Lazaro giggle at his dismay. Elio cant stop moving,neither can Rika,and Himari is already starting to snore. He finds his husbands hand and takes it, feeling his own be squeezed in its grasp.

--Good lord I just want a nap-- He grumbled.

--You'll tune it out like I did-- his husband answered,amused. His free hand had settled on his kids back, a reassuring Weight.

--Easy for you to say. Once you are asleep,even I cant wake you...

--Pshttt dont be so sour. Cmon..!

Yasuke rolled his eyes endeared and tried to find the comfort in this moment. No battle,no danger,just the rain,his home, the comfy bed and his family. Everything he ever wanted,he got it. Even after being enslaved,even after his revenge on his slaver. Even when he thought his pain would eat him whole.

Here he was, with his husband and their three kids. Its nice,its so very nice.

The room began to smell of wet dirt and rain,and he could hear droplets falling on the roof and against the walls and Windows. He can feel Laz's body hear pressing against his own,and the breath of Elio against his chest.

Everything was alright.

This was their safe place.

Yasuke & I's children.

Elio (sun). Oldest,has my acne issues and bi colored hair (hidden within his locks and braids since he doesnt want to draw attention to himself. He/she).

This is Himari. (Sunlight,daytime,positive) they/them. Doesnt mind being reffered to as a woman.

Rika (singing,sharp,clever). Agender,any pronouns go they dont really care. But she/her is at the bottom of the prefference list.

Babies the lot of them! Yasuke and I love them to bits.

Questions for your self ship with Yasuke!!!

I know you're drawing all four seasons of the year with him. Do you have a favorite season to spend with him? Cuddling in the winter, looking at leaves in the fall, etc.

Is there something about Yasuke that you find particularly cute? Not handsome or honorable, just a feature or behavior of his that's just straight up adorable.

My favorite season is Spring/summer. I like the heat, ive always fared better with the heat cuz i run naturally hot so it doesnt bother me. We'd go on walks, walk around the markets and eye up whatever. He might buy me a surprise gift.

His smile, his cat like smile. Look at this!. He also has huge eyes, such baby eyes.

His favorite thing about me is my heart. He loves im very kind despite everything that happened to me. Hes also very fond of how easy i make him laugh and make him happy. I bring levity to his very serious life, and hes amazed by my (somewhat) balance between seriousness and silly personality.
