What animal do u think FACE fam and friends would each be? I know nations got national symbols picked of all sorts of animals but im talking just one that fits who they are and not what they're the representation of.
OK ive been excited to get to this. because its sooooo easy to say that they are just the national animals but thats not really them. not even for black sheep reasons, i think arthur might be a type of sheep with horns. because he's hard-headed. i was already thinking that and then i remembered the sheep motif with him. and that still fits with the type of animals from his home.
i do think alfred would still be a bird of some sort because of his free spirit. perhaps a bluejay? because they look very sweet but they are a member of the same family as crows and magpies so they can be a little aggressive at times. they are seen as being very loud and assertive. but they can also symbolize loyalty (mating for life) and adaptability. they are native only to north america
i think francis would be a fox :) sorta cunning and devious but are also sometimes domesticated (that might be a bad thing but my point here is that they are sweet on occasion). foxes have been known to kill lambs. btw. im thinking a red fox
and mattie im almost tempted to give him a bird as well and have that be the mourning dove (also only native to north america) buuuuuuuuut. im gonna go with an arctic fox because that continues the fox motif but also they are small and they camouflage easily. not that matt is small but i feel like he wants to make himself small. and he is similarly cunning like his father but in a quiet way. and thats an animal native to canada as well so there ya go.
a time i think it would match up with the national animal is with ivan. thats the eurasian brown bear specifically and brown bears ARE NOT to be messed with but then you have alfred in the background like "yeah but some bears are really sweet and nice!" talking about the black bears back home in Appalachia.
