This does take place in my CyberSaber7 universe. HOWEVER. This is actually a prequel, taking place more than ten years before the main timeline events of CS7 (but after the flashback events, so if you consider those part of the main narrative it’s actually a midquel.) Basically, you don’t need to know any of the events in the first book to get this. The main character is an outsider who will explain everything to you if you need it. But she won’t bog you down with details if you don’t need it. And, if you’re familiar with the CS7 characters, keep an eye out for a few cameos of old characters in their younger days.
