I like to write! So here are my favourite creations as avatars bc- I LOVE THEM.
The Siren. Avatar of the web. (Monologue!)
"Well you are.. you're alive, better than most who visit but still boring.. and Jonah Dearest told me you'd be interesting.. I hope he didn't lie..
Hm? Well, in all honesty, I didn't think either of you would make it. Most don't and you're hardly good at survival, though I suppose you've had help from the Watcher.. hm?
Now.. enough baseless mumbling, you want a statement, don't you? I'll waste no more time.
It's a strange thing, the ocean. Though I'm sure many would contest this, I find it truly beautiful, the way it only offers a simple answer of obscurity. The way it rids you of the control people try so desperately cling onto like it's the only thing people can grasp at. Truth be told, it's the only thing they don't have when it comes to the great unending blue. Each fear takes its piece of the ocean, every death is another for the end or the desolation, and each drowning falls to the vast or the buried, though the implosion of that submarine was quite interesting to divvy up. The Buried wanted to claim it, since it has been starved for food for many a century, since coffin bells were made, it has been rather difficult to bury someone alive you see, but in the end, like most useful things, it came to the great puppeteer. The creature of stolen control, the monster of manipulation. Many names it has acquired over the past millennia, as has the rest of them. Recently, I've heard it referred to as the Mother, but I have always had a soft spot for Puppeteer. Just like how the Eye has preferred Watcher to Beholding. It's all just curiosity turned cruel, like many things. I suppose I could tell where I am from, but it would mean nothing to you. Well, not quite nothing.. but still, not far off. Your uncertain knowledge makes it difficult to tell you anything. Like I said, Elias told me you were interesting, but that doesn't make you smart enough to find your way out of the web you brought yourself to, out of your own senseless curiosity.
How fun, it felt interesting to be uncertain as to what I would say for a moment! But, alas, here is where we part. Enjoy finding your way out, even The Watcher finds that part difficult, though I am sure you'll get there.
Farewell, parvum archivum.
The Executioner. The end. (Monologue)
"Ah. Jon is it? I suppose by now you've met Oliver, and I wouldn't want to waste the great Archives time, now would I? After all, we have such a limited amount, all things considered.
I know, I know, so very insensitive of me. None the less, I would ask of you that you don't force a statement out of me, I am being quite considerate of your dear friend and I do believe he'd find it rather uncomfortable to witness. So, now we are acquainted, I am quite certain you'd like to know at least one thing... Whose afraid of me? Who is afraid of death?
No. No. The answer is dual. No-one is afraid of just death, but everyone holds it in their mind. Cold and unforgiving, it will find you."
AND THAT IS ALL. If you like these characters, then I am working on a fantasy podcast with them in it! Feel free to ask any questions about it! <3
