Hard to say? Osana says more abrasive and potentially hurtful things when she gets embarrassed, but Taro rarely seems to actually mind them. He seems the easiest to hurt, but he has a surprisingly thick skin when it comes to her antics.
On the other hand, Taro speaks sweetly and never means to hurt her, but she’s insecure and very afraid of ruining their relationship with her feelings, so she’s often the one who is (inadvertently) hurt during their conversations. I think maybe once they talk about their feelings and sort it all out and actually date, she won’t be so easily hurt. She’s just been holding it in for a long time and it makes her a bit vulnerable.

It depends on the emotion and the situation. My kneejerk reaction is to say Osana, because Taro is a Soft and Sensitive Boy, but as I said above she DOES act tough and aloof and sort of above-it-all to protect herself because she is secretly quite vulnerable. Taro may be sensitive, but he’s honest about his feelings, and he’s very quick to forgive and bounce back which…probably makes him stronger than she is.

Taro, the poor, helpless disaster. The first time he ever saw her cry was when he fell out of a tree they were climbing. She ran to get his mom and insisted on coming to the hospital with them and when the doctor said he had broken a bone she pressed her little face into his stomach and started bawling.

Osana probably knows what would upset him most to say, but she’d never say it. Taro is a bit clueless, so he wouldn’t think to say anything regarding her feelings for him (that would hurt her most of all), and even though he?? Probably hurts her more often than she hurts him?? It’s always accidental and he’s always confused about what he did wrong so.

Taro. Even if Osana was the one in the wrong. Taro apologizes for everything as it is, and when it comes to Osana–whose mood shifts often confuse him–he usually apologizes whether he understands what went wrong or not. But I think if he ever truly was angry with her that she would drag herself to him with her tail between her legs and apologize as best she could, because he’s worth the embarrassment and the swallowed pride.
