cantfeelanythxng replied to your post “Going over there and getting up to touch his shoulder to get his...”
( why am I so tempted to draw an answer to this - )
DFNLVJFDLDK oh my god, if you decide to, I’d totally wanna see that.
Going over there and getting up to touch his shoulder to get his attention would be /far/ too exhausting for the crippled girl- and she had already given up trying to snap him back to reality with her voice alone. She let out a groan of frustration, and her far from coordinated hands grabbed her pocket sized planner. Yet, Ayano has just enough of her gross motor skills left to throw it square onto the back of Shuichi's head. "Saihara, enough! Class is over!"
Classes have ended for the day, but Shuichi was still at his desk, still really focused on the book he was reading. He sometimes got like that: very focused/concentrated on whatever he was doing, that sometimes he doesn’t really pay attention to much else going on int he room.
He didn’t hear Ayano at first because of that; though, the planner being thrown at the back of his head finally got his attention, in the form of him jumping in his seat with a startled yelp. “H-Huh?” He looked back to see the planner on the floor before looking over to her.
“O-oh… Aishi-san? Sorry, were you trying to get my attention? S-Sorry about that, I wasn’t ignoring you on purpose or anything… but um, y-yeah, thanks: I’ll start heading out, too…”

{ Follow up question : Is it easy or harder to spook him when he’s focusing with his eyes closed? }
omg: probably easier since he’d be so concentrated on whatever he’s thinking about, he sometimes might not pay much attention to whatever else is happening in the room, if he was previously alone in it.
So yeah, sneak up on him and try scaring him, you’ll most likely succeed, hehe

💭 — How does your muse physically focus themselves whilst in deep thought?
Shuichi tends to do several gestures like stroking or cupping his chin when deep in thought, or sometimes holding his hand up to his mouth. He also usually has his eyes closed whenever he’s thinking hard about something, to try to help himself focus a bit more.

“Is is not strange how some people do not have the patience to help others?”
“Oftentimes I see it, people getting exasperated or stressed out when trying to help others with small things such as homework, or chores, but it is even worse when it comes to someone’s health, be it of body or mind, the patience is reduced so much when it does not involve them directly, it is kind of sad, really, as everybody deserves the same sort of treatment, right?”
“It would be lovely if everyone could take a step back and put themselves into someone else’s shoes for these sort of things.”

🍙 - Bring my muse something to eat
Natsuki looks at the small bento box that had been placed in front of her, a small blush coming to her cheeks, “Eh?!” She looks away from her manga and up at the figure in front of her. “Ayano?” She asks, what was the older student doing in the literature club during lunch? And even more pressing on the small girl’s mind, why was a bento being set here? Did she expect Natsuki to move?
“What is this?” She asks, her lips pursing slightly as she closes her book, and gestures to the small gift of food.
I wanna hear about Grell's obsession with Red can I
please ask me things about grell !
UHHHH YOU CAN ? ? CERTAINLY ? ?
first of all i recommend reading this post here because my god op really galaxy brained when they wrote it… op we are all bow down to you.
as an immortal being, grell had no doubt met several killers similar to angelina but before that point, had chosen never to get involved. at that point in time, however, grell had long grown tired of the toils of a reaper’s work and sought something new ; something more interesting. if it weren’t for the fact that she was sincerely and legitimately bored, she almost certainly would never have made herself known to angelina. angelina was in her eyes, a tool. a hobby. grell liked what she was doing and decided it might be a fun game to join in, and so she did.
angelina accepted her help without much thought because of course, it’s human nature to accept supernatural help. ( not that she really could have gotten rid of grell after she’d offered her assistance —– grell was literally doing her job. angelina didn’t really have a lot of say in the matter, even if she had refused. grell would have hung around regardless. )
with that, grell agreed to act as angelina’s butler for the years up until her eventual death for the pure reason of that she thought it would just be fun. she took an odd kind of sabbatical leave from her work in which she still took care of retrievals in london’s east end but resided in the mortal realm where she served angelina. their relationship is very, very interesting indeed —– because you can see that the two are close, oddly so. in kuromyu 3.5 ( because that specific performance of the musical is canon to my portrayal ) grell is shown to quite literally be angelina’s shadow to the point where she puts sebastian to shame : she follows angelina around. she does almost everything without having to be asked. the two share a brief look and she knows what angelina wants her to do. numerous times in the musical, angelina is shown to give grell reassuring touches to the arm unprompted, and grell is confident enough to publicly chastise her after her dirty gossiping to undertaker.
grell made angelina a lot of promises that she had little intention of keeping. she told her that they were two peas in a pod and would be together forever, but she didn’t put much stock into it because at the end of the day, despite how much grell had convinced herself she loved her, angelina was human. mortal. grell had no real intention of keeping her around because one day, she would cease to be useful ; cease to be interesting. when you’re an immortal, it’s so easy to discard a human that has outstayed their welcome in your heart. ( always ready to kill you or our love ! )
if you ask me, it is highly implied that the two were romantically involved. ( in the analog cinematic records / we make lewd noises, heat hazes, shrouded in drifting ecstasy, inflict wounds upon each other, and then start drowning away. ) outside of her butler facade, grell was almost certainly controlling and manipulative towards angelina. i don’t even know if it was intentional on her part —– as i’ve said before, she lacks empathy to a degree and sometimes it doesn’t occur to her that perhaps what she’s doing is wrong. there’s an inherent power imbalance between grell and angelina, because grell was a divine being and angelina was not. grell egged her on and encouraged her to kill, validating her at every single turn. their relationship was incredibly unhealthy.
when ciel returned from what was seemingly the dead, angelina and grell made a decision. angelina was to kill ciel and in doing so, she would truly cut ties to vincent. grell didn’t for a single second think to mention to angelina that sebastian was a demon because she was arrogant and just didn’t think it was relevant information. after all, need to know stuff. in her eyes, angelina didn’t need to know. she was expendable.
when angelina couldn’t kill ciel, grell saw it as a direct betrayal. angelina had gone against her word and chose her nephew over grell —– clearly she didn’t love her anymore ! ( if it’s an unrequited love / then at least let us bond in the other world … / i’ve been making that wish countless times / like a beast hungry for your blood ! ) during don’t lose your way where angelina sings “ ciel ! ciel ! my beloved child ! “ you can see grell look at her, confused, as if to say “ wait, what ? “
the moments leading up to angelina’s death are miserable. grell looks so disappointed and disgusted that angelina would betray her like this, even going as far as to roll her eyes at her. you can see her deliberating ( and bear in mind, this happened over the course of a few seconds in real time ; outside of the cinematic record ) over what to do. in an impulsive fit of rage, grell granted angelina what she sees as a kindness, and killed her the moment she became a liability. she didn’t need someone so sentimental to weigh her down, she didn’t need someone who would choose a child over her and her love.
as someone who sees the world as a stage, grell sincerely thought angelina’s death was a gift. she felt she’d appreciate such a romantic death, comparing it to a curtain drop. she stopped angelina before things could get too out of hand and made it memorable. ( while i simply yearn for a deep crimson dream in the eternity of a brief instant. )
grell held angelina as she died, telling her how disappointed she was with her. after all, how could she love someone who gives up just as victory is appearing on the horizon ? as i’ve mentioned before, grell doesn’t think she, a killer, deserves to love anything pure and light, therefore the more carnal red is more fitting. and, of angelina, she decided that much like herself and other colours like white, someone so sentimental doesn’t deserve to wear red. she takes her coat, and wears it as her own, repairing the fabric herself from where her death scythe had cut through it. she’s visibly affected by just killing angelina, as shown just before her fight with sebastian.
grell’s impulsiveness is a fatal flaw, and she deeply regrets killing angelina. she didn’t quite love her as much as she’d convinced herself she did ( which was a lot, considering grell seemed to worship the ground she walked on ) but rather loved the idea of her, and her loss has left a whole in her heart. it’s not something she dwells on often, but sometimes she wonders what would have happened if she hadn’t done it. but she can’t bring her back now.
