Lux was walking home from work the town was so quiet seeing as it was the middle of the night, he pulled his keys out as he walked up the stairs to his shared apartment and he unlocked the door, the first thing he saw was surprising, Sierra was pacing around the living room he wasn’t sure what she was doing but it was clear Barrett was in bed because he wasn’t following her or sitting on the couch watching her. He toed off his shoes shutting the door and he placed his bag down as he walked over into her path since she didn’t notice him at first and he gently placed his hands on her shoulders to stop her and he looked down at the smaller girl “Alright what’s wrong? Why are you pacing around the living room looking more crazy than usual hmm? How can I help?”

ariel’s upset was obvious — she hated when her friends were upset and there was nothing she could do to fix the situation. as a fixer, she needed to find a solution. but, she was at a loss. there was no way she could change the way that others acted toward honey though she wished very hard that she could. “oh, darling,” she cooed gently as she held the other tightly against her chest. “people like that are not worth your efforts and upset. i know you want to reach out and make friends — boyfriends, even — but you must find a way to slowly assess who they really are before you jump in and give them all that you have. you’re lovely and to be giving is such a good and rare quality, but it can hurt you, love. look at me,” she said gently before carefully holding honey’s cheeks to cause her to direct her gaze. ariel offered a small smile. “you should let me handle the assessing next time, okay? i don’t mind being your personal interviewer,” she offered before peppering kisses across her cheeks and forehead.

despite knowing nothing about the occult, olaf found himself wandering into the tiny shop out of pure curiosity. he probably stuck out like a sore thumb with the way he looked, but he figured that was just a constant state for him. there was a look of awe on his face as he began to look around the shop with his mouth agape, finally taking notice of someone in the shop behind the counter. his eyes lit up as he approached the counter, a bright smile upon his lips. “hi! oh my gosh… are you a witch or something? you must be if you work in a cool place like this.” he was practically bouncing up and down. “wait, do you think you could help me figure out how to do a spell or something? do spells for the happiness of others really work?” he rambled, unintentionally bombarding the other with questions.

…on a scar. 

Jim and Anna-marie weren't doing anything of importance, they rarely got a day off together and right now they were implying just existing together. Anna-marie was wearing one of his sweatshirts she had stolen because she liked the fit of it and she was resting easily against his chest, ever since the ball they had been spending more time together outside of work, it was nice really comforting and grounding to Anne-Marie, even if they were doing something mundane and just watching movies together it brought her joy. Right this moment she was very gently letting her fingertips graze his skin mindlessly, being featherlight and trying to focus on not hurting him, but also just loving the feel of skin on skin with him, she feared it with others but with Jim it was something that she enjoyed, it felt nice. She came up on some raised skin and she softly let her fingers graze over it for a few moments before turning her eyes from the tv to look back at him for a moment "Did you get this one from skating or from jumping that fence?" She turned back looking down at his forearm and before waiting for an answer lifted his arm so gently pressing the most gentle kisses to the raised skin a few times before letting it go to look back at him again smiling "How long do you think it would take me to kiss ever scar on your skin? Is it weird I want to? That I want to hear the story behind each one." she leaned forward pressing another sweet kiss to the smallest scar that was above his top lip and smiled sweetly "Would you let me do that for you? So I can reclaim each and every scar? Or is that a weird thing to want to do?"

​Stiles muttered under his breath wishing he had rented a car, he wasn't embarrassed by his jeep by any means but there was something about how he wanted to be fancy because they were going to a ball, and he wanted the best for Usagi, he knew the other wouldn't care if he pulled up to her house in his jeep. He pulled into her driveway and he held her corsage in his hand looking at it hoping it was a nice one, he had never gone to an event like this and his father helped him pick it out, so he was planning on blaming him if she didn't like it. He walked up to her door clutching the box the flower was in trying not to overthink it but he let out a sigh of relief and pushing his nerves aside. He raised his hand to knock but before he could the door swung open and he took a step back in surprise. He stared at her smiling so big his eyes sparkling as he saw her, he always knew she was beautiful but in this moment he was just stunned, and he stared at her with his mouth open just trying to find the right words "Wow um oh my you look ha, wow you just look wow." He laughed not sure how to properly convey just how beautiful she was. He held out the box his eyes never leaving her "I got this for you, I hope you don't find it cheesy or anything but I'd like to put it on you before we go if that's alright?" He still didn't know how he was lucky enough to get her to agree to go with him he was going to be the luckiest guy at the ball.

Jesper looked at the other drinking water as he sat with them at one of the booths, it was obvious they were sad and normally he wouldn’t sit with a customer but he would like to think the two of them were friends, and since it was a dead night he felt like he could and Kaz wouldn’t be too mad at him for sitting for awhile, it’s not like he was drinking on the job. “So it looks like you need to talk, but I’ll give you the option of giving you maybe a distraction if you don’t want to talk about it, I can show you a card trick I used to con people out of their money with, whatever you want I’ll do it as long as it takes that sad look off your face.”

Lux found himself walking into the masquerade linking arms with Barrett and Sierra on Barrett’s other side, he felt at peace at events like this if he had those two. Because sure they all were introverts and had some form of anxiety, but he absolutely hated big events, he honestly had been the one to come up with the idea mainly because he wanted to see his two favorite people dressed up it made him happy to see them looking and feeling confident. He heard the music and he already started dancing unlinking from Barrett’s arm to stand in front of the two of them walking backwards to look at them “So should we get some drinks? Maybe steal a bottle of champagne or wine to keep to ourselves for the night? Or should we spilt up one secures a table and the other gets drinks? Just tell me what I should do and I will go I am here to woo you both as always so just give me a direction.”
